Oh my god !! 😍
I was actually looking for the clip of Mr. Brando in court speaking french to a victim's family. In the documentary I saw the way he spoke his gestures and the emotion he exuded you could really sense his empathy and sentiments just in the way he spoke.
Yea he said look at that ravishing woman, she's so elegant and pretty, and then calls her over and says in French that here's an African American woman by accident (we didn't plan it) as they were speaking about the rights of African Americans
I'm a straight guy and I can admit that Brando was a stunning looking young man. If you can't admit that, you're not confident in your sexuality. It's pretty indisputable.
When Marlon turns and sees her his eyebrows go down like wow wee wow look a here wow we wow, I bet he got her number, he don't waste no time and color please all the same.
Brando was highly intelligent and media savvy. I doubt this was an accident. Look at that baby closely looks like Brando. He had lots of children spread throughout the world.
Such an inspiration on all areas of what it means to be a human being. Marlon used the full art of expression always to bring life an energy and thought to his conversations. By Marlon speaking French along with other languages is like art in real life that has a hint of playfulness that’s is masculine and attractive to all in his presence. Truly an inspiration.
It's surprising to read these comments and see so many people being surprised that he speaks french, considering the fact that "Last tango in Paris" is one of his best/biggest movies and he speaks french throughout the film. I really don't get how more people aren't familiar with it.
when did the man learn french? he's really good for someone who's not speaking this as his first language, and who probably learnt it later in life..the accent's not great, but the pronunciation is good and he's pretty fast at understanding and replying
I find his accent and body language great, it’s his grammar that needs work, conjugaison of verbs and agreement. But I understood everything he said so pretty dang good!
funny to hear what a thick american accent IN FRENCH sounds like. ie..the opposite would be a frenchman who spoke ENGLISH with a thick french accent. ive read to huge bios of brando and his french fluency was not even mentioned! amazing. a very intelligent eccentric fella he was.
Wow i'm french i'm a Big fan for Marlon Brando it's so cool listen Marlon Brando speaker in french and it's so cool see this moment this women she so beautiful with a little kid good vidéo...
Date de diffusion : 9 septembre 1965 Alors qu'il présente son plus récent film Morituri en 1965, Marlon Brando accorde une entrevue diffusée à l'émission Aujourd'hui de radio-canada
Marlon spoke French the same way he spoke English. Sometimes haltingly, somewhat absent-mindedly. He spoke both well, of course, but often seemed to have had to search for the next words. Again, he spoke English the same way, at least in interviews. Then again, he was an actor, perhaps the greatest of them all, so that could have been him affecting that absent-mindedness. Still, this is a treat, especially when the young miss and the baby approached.
And he kinda had to learn french fluently since one of his wives is Tahitian and they also had children together. And he also owns and island in french polynesia aswell
His accent and intonation sound pretty natural and his manner is more reflective than I'd expected. Of course he can't have been just like the characters he played.
Though being a dyslexic and poor educated he made it !!! haha , his German is funny - only bad words ☺ He stops thinking when he sees that beautiful woman )
brando, was a Alfa male, not to many men, had all that it takes to be a top Alfa, Valentino, gable, Brando, and Daniel Craig ! maybe ?? the heat they carry is explosive, I only know of one regular person that fits the bill, you just can't stop looking at them, there mesmerizing !😙

He was definitely attracted to her.
Yea he said look at that ravishing woman, she's so elegant and pretty, and then calls her over and says in French that here's an African American woman by accident (we didn't plan it) as they were speaking about the rights of African Americans

Wow...Marlon Brando speaking French...what a treat!!
Growing up watching the Godfather myself,.am I the only one who finds Brando hotter than Pacino and DeNiro?
glassheartnerd have you seen him in streetcar named desire. I love those two but they couldn’t hold a candle to the young Brando. He was a sex symbol.
I'm a straight guy and I can admit that Brando was a stunning looking young man. If you can't admit that, you're not confident in your sexuality. It's pretty indisputable.
He was even hotter as the Don, I liked that he had his "Kittie" as his feline consigliere!
He was so handsome with that mustache as Vito Corleone!
No marlon is the greatest
Aw she’s so cute
That smile, those dimples, eyebrows! My!

Brilliant and handsome and goodhearted...what a combination....he must have been the target of lesser minds and of petty people.
Brando was highly intelligent and media savvy. I doubt this was an accident. Look at that baby closely looks like Brando. He had lots of children spread throughout the world.

A beautiful child.
Handsome 😍
a genius...tortured mind...but a genius...total immersion for the interview..and suddenly.. his libido take him out of focus....:)
I kind of agree with this ...
Mine, too!
It's like his sexual magnestism is so strong he bends the space time continuum ot its will
Agreed on most except the tortured mind part. His mind was not trapped on the superficial and illusion.
C’est sexy quand il parle anglais, pourtant c’est plus sexy quand il parle en francais
A truly great American. A truly great man.

Marlon Brando started to speak french in 1962 as he played in the film The munity of Bounty shot in the French Polinesia (Tahiti,Bora Bora..)
+ValerioMansueti When he finished Street car on broadway he went to live to Paris for a couple of months. There he learned french.

I suppose he learned to speak it in French Polynesia where he owned and lived on a private island.
Even the German he speaks is remarkable good.
