    What an awesome work, dude. So many layers and small pieces that you put together to form this sculpture. Just with your hands, fingers and some simple tools. I know that almost anybody can learn anything. But this here is high art.
    I'm not into modeling but you've got my recognition. Thank god that there's more on youtube than people talking about their goldfish and making billions of subscribers with such crap.
    This video should be posted on the YT-Mainpage instead of gamers and "talkers" day by day.

    • @roquelainesculpt
      @roquelainesculpt  Před 9 lety

      I sculpt with plastilina oil based clay, monster clay, just to keep it, it s hard at room temperature, or you mold it, or you destroy your work to rescue the clay and start an other sculpture, as me.

    • @roquelainesculpt
      @roquelainesculpt  Před 9 lety +1

      Unfortunaly just few are molded and casted, not so much customer to mold everything, then 80% that you see on video are destroyed to use again the clay for an other sculpture who lives by pictures or videos....;)

    Just a bunch of questions: what kind of spheres did you use as eyeballs? Do you bake the model in oven at the end? Did you use Super Sculpey?
    Thank you, I'm going to start sculpting, and literally eat and breathe your videos! :-)

    • @roquelainesculpt
      @roquelainesculpt  Před 9 lety

      Thanks, the eyes are just some pearl or sometimes some little bullet for airsoft, it s nit super sculpey, it s monster clay platiline. But you could do the same thing with sculpey, just before see if the plastic pearl resist to the warm of the oven.

    • @DeepVoid_70
      @DeepVoid_70 Před 9 lety

      cyril roquelaine I've just tested a couple of airsoft bullets: complete disaster. After ten minutes at a temperature of 120°C, the two bullets came out the oven completely melted and distorted. I need to find something else for the eyeballs. Cyril, if you can tell me exactly what kind of "pearls" you use for your projects, I'd be very grateful. No rush of course, just let me know if and when you can. In the meantime, I've ordered my first batch of Scuper Sculpey (Monster Clay seems impossible to find here in Italy; I've found just one reseller who ask € 70.00 for usual 5 lbs. pack, I can't believe it). Can't wait to receive the clay! :-)

    • @pw6titanium
      @pw6titanium Před 9 lety

      Alex Vannini couldn't you affix the eyes after the oven or perhaps use glass beads ?

    • @DeepVoid_70
      @DeepVoid_70 Před 9 lety

      Alba Whiteman To place the eyes after the oven is impossible, since I need to have the clay soft during the modelling. I'll look for glass eyes, but here in Italy is like to search for a honest politician...

    Hey Cyril, every Monster Clay Sculpt from you is on the surface so much specular. How could that be? Is monster clay, a clay which i originally specular? If for example i use my normal grey clay, its not specular surface.

    • @roquelainesculpt
      @roquelainesculpt  Před 2 měsíci +1

      hello, I use a alcohol torch or gaz torch to smooth a little more the clay, with the intensive warm the clay becomes tended, and the surface more specular. hope that s help you
