সংকটের শুরুতে পদক্ষেপ না নেয়ায় বর্তমানে অর্থনীতির এ হাল। এর সমাধানে আমরা বিশ্বের সাথে তাল মেলাতে পারিনি বলে মনে করেন বিশিষ্ট অর্থনীতিবিদ ড. আহসান এইচ মনসুর। তাঁর মতে, মূল্যস্ফীতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে আমরা কিছুই করিনি, ৯-৬ সুদের হার নিয়ে পড়ে থাকলাম। আর পুঁজিবাজারে ফ্লোর প্রাইসের কারণে বিদেশি বিনিয়োগকারীরা হতাশ বলেও মনে করেন তিনি। এসব সংকট সমাধানে নির্বাচনের পর অর্থনৈতিক ব্যবস্থাপনার জন্য শক্তিশালী রাজনৈতিক টিম গঠনের তাগিদ দিয়েছেন গবেষণা সংস্থা ‘পিআরআই’র নির্বাহী পরিচালক ড. আহসান এইচ মনসুর।

As a layman of economics, what I understand from dr. Mansur’s discussion is all policies are made to protect & enrich oligarchs, 51:28 politicians & bureaucrats is the reason for heading bottomed out, frankly I don’t see any positive direction that will get us to recovery because of position busy to upend their coffers & opposition doesn’t understand anything…

Federal Bank should behave independently outside any political intervention. Inflation and macro economic indicators should be the sole guidance for federal rates. Its really an enriching discussion on ways to alleviate the situation.
But how can the central bank behave independently until and unless they so empowered by the government!
@@afmfaruque9031 yes govt has to enable that. As in India RBI is structurally independent but govt has some influence, but not to the point that it is detrimental for the economic structure of the country

Well this is a good discussion but i want to add a point here. There is no need to put the western economies, particularly USA in such a high regard. Their economy is highly debt ridden and their hegemony is on the test. I work in that market so i know it pretty well.
