I have to admit, as much as I love your adventure, I, too, am a wee bit relieved to hear you guys are headed home. I'm a mum too and I'm kind of anxious for you guys to get home, back to your doctors, back to family, and for you guys to start nesting and preparing without stress.

I'm actually really glad y'all are cutting it short, being in America myself made me see that pregnancy announcement and think "I hope they get back into Canada soundly for their health care process". Hope all is well and the rest of this adventure is well
Absolutely. My husband and I were DINKs for almost 20 years. We finally had our kiddo last year, but only because we were finally in a good financial place to pay for the healthcare costs, unpaid maternity leave, and childcare costs. It’s a LOT.
Good decision guys 👍 You can travel with the Little LeLe (LEah/LEvi) when they are here. Our son just came with us everywhere and was totally chilled about it. My Mother in Law was really nervous when we took him with us to a nice restaurant, she was blown away by how he behaved, he was about 9 months old and totally absorbed in the hustle and bustle around him. She relaxed and we all had a great time, she was bursting with pride when people came up and said how they were amazed to see we had a young baby with us and how chill and smiley he was. Take the little one everywhere and continue to live your life. It’s easier than you think. Hugs to all three of you xxx
I think I have never been more relieved to hear Someone decided to cut their trip short.😅 have a great trip back to Canada and may your journey as parents be filled with joy, cuddles und love. ❤
I've been hoping you would do this! As a mom, I'm relieved you're heading home and can enjoy sharing your pregnancy with loved ones, and also the comfort of your doctors! I truly hope your renters will be understanding and you can be back in your home to nest! I've loved watching your travel adventures and know from experience that future travel will be there whenever you're ready.
Don't feel bad about cutting your trip short. Now you have reasons to come back and bring the little one(s) with you and spread the travel bug and love for the outdoors to them young and early :D Have a safe trip home!
Yeah! Save Eastern Canada for an RV trip with baby! And y'all can always come back to the east coast USA later on. 2 trips to look forward too 🥰 I'm glad y'all are going back home to be surrounded by fam during this new phase of life ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ you guys can enjoy this new segment of life as new parents!
I'm sad you had to cut your journey short but I'm glad you're still able to have a fun trip back and still see a few sites before settling in again. Can't wait to see you when you're back in Victoria! 😊
I know Leah commented this back to me on a previous video, but I’m so thrilled to hear you’re on your way back! The US is sadly not a great place to be pregnant even if you’re a citizen with health insurance. All the best to you and your growing family!

Happy Saturday morning Leah and Levi.Welcome to parenthood, it's amazing how all your decisions are for the well being of your baby as soon as your pregnant. You are a mom and dad already putting baby and mamas health first. I totally understand your decision but you will have amazing trips with your little one and make more incredible memories. Thanks for your fun videos. I enjoy them with my morning tea while the rest of my household sleeps.
My partner and I have been hoping for this. We wanted you to be safe from the craziness of our healthcare system. Reproductive care was never great but now it's a freaking mess. We wish you nothing but the best.
my heart! You stopped by mellow mushroom, I used to deliver for them all the time! If you guys stop by vermont, I suggest Leddy Parkin Burlington Vermont. It sits on Lake Champlain (it's the 6ths largest lake in the US) and it's about a 5 minute walk from the park entrance to the lake It has the most beautiful sunsets. Also, the drive to vermont is beautiful with all of the evergreens. 15:00 I've never heard anyone call it the Washington memorial before lmao, that's the Washington memorial. Also, woah, there are so many more people there from when my dad took us when I was a kid.
Are you planning on coming back to BC for that 18 week appointment? Make sure that it is covered outside of BC (even within Canada) because healthcare coverage is more limited outside the province (I am not sure about prenatal care but it should be covered!), and if it is, ask the provider if they bill directly to BC MSP and if they don't you might need to pay upfront and then get reimbursed by MSP later. I ran into this before going to a walk-in in Ontario lol
As a mom myself, I totally get wanting to be home for your pregnancy. As an East Coaster, I’m sad because I was hoping to get to meet you and possibly even host you overnight. When you come back east in the future I hope to have that opportunity. You HAVE to see Niagara Falls! And you would love Ithaca, NY. Safe travels back home!
I have binge watched this channel all day, you guys are amazing!! It’s so refreshing to see such a loving couple being open about so many aspects of themselves! Congratulations on the bean, looking forward to seeing what comes next.
I, too, thought of Jenny running through the water. It’s cold and windy everywhere in 🇨🇦 atm (even in your home city)… how welcoming. I’m stoked to see your visit with Dana, Lou, & Max and the Wild We Roam container build next week. The wind and the chills will be waiting for you when you get back home, so don’t rush. Mmm… boiled peanuts 🥜🥜… what a concept… I bet they were hella-delish!! Thanks for the vibe today. Ⓜ️ary🇨🇦

"IS THAT A TIM HORTON'S CUP??" Amazing how such a small thing can be so exciting for us Canadians lol. Sad you won't get to see the Maritimes right now (I'm from New Brunswick originally), but really glad you will be back home soon, and excited for your 20 week ultrasound!
Tim’s is no longer Canadian owned , find a local non franchised coffee shop in your area & support them. You may be pleasantly surprised , the coffee will taste much better too.
I wish I had thought to suggest you visit the D.C. monuments early in the morning when it's much much less crowded. When you were in New Market you were 80 miles west of me. I understand your eagerness to hurry back home, but it's kind of a bummer not to get to see more of the east coast through your eyes, and it reminds me of watching Tyler and Todd cut short their North America road trip and zoom back home in early 2020 to get back to Canada before the border was closed because of COVID. I hope the remaining days of your trip are going smoothly. ❤
Sooo cool to see you more in my neck of the woods (middle TN). Visited Asheville with family last year in the fall and it was very pretty. Congrats on the baby, going back for free healthcare definitely makes sense.
Glad I wasn't the only one whose brain immediately turned to Forrest Gump, seeing that view 😅 And yes, the Maritimes and Quebec are awesome, and you should absolutely take the time to visit them - with or without kiddo(s) - when you do get the chance down the line. Cape Breton is particularly stunning.
Oh my goodness! I love the fact that you guys know Wild we roam! Two worlds collide! Fantastic. And each of you have reminded me of each other, but I never considered you knew each other. ❤
I have to admit the entire time you were walking around Asheville, I was scouring the background for the LOVE signs. 😂😂 I watched Rob Czar chat with William Najger, the artist who does them, and I enjoyed the idea of them so much!! Did not spot one, but maybe I just didn't see it!
Humanity is so odd and beautiful at the same time. Washington DC is so ostentatious. USA inc. is a beautiful place. Glad you are enjoying yourselves ❤ Light & Love 💗
I’m an American and 28 weeks pregnant for the first time and I’m also relieved for you to be going home! I couldn’t imagine the anxiety of not being in your own country when you need care more than ever in your life for most people! I’m from east coast and best time to visit os fall anyways in my opinion!!
Are you heading back up through Michigan then? If Hell Michigan is close to your route you show make a stop. It's a cute tourist place. Very fun though!
Too bad you are missing out on the Maritimes, but waiting until after the little one arrives is a great idea. There are tons of babies, toddlers, children of all kinds here in the Maritimes. See em all over the place. It'll be great. ;) Looking forward to next week's ep!! Love Wild We Roam. :)
As an American, I can totally understand your choice to seek healthcare at home and around your support network! Are you able to negotiate with your tenants to ensure you can get back into your home? :)
@@LeahandLevi would love a video about that, 'cause I was thinking the same thing. I sorta miss the apartment (and Leah's MEG! HAHAHA) and would like to know how that's all going to unfold.
Ugh I totally understand the struggle of wanting to see everything but realizing there's simply not. Enough. Time. 😩 I was living in Germany last year for 6 months and I tried to go see so many places in Europe on my bucket list, but I could have easily just stayed in the one country and seen all the funky, cute little places that aren't touristy. I think what I'm realizing is, no matter where you are in the world, there are cool places to see, and there will ALWAYS be more cool places that we can't get to in our lifetimes, and you just have to enjoy the current moment :)) the east coast will always be there, waiting for you
So, if I understand you right, you like Slow(er) travel...? Can't argue with that. As someone who hates to be rushed, and hates rushing, your point is extremely sound in my books. Hope you'll be able to get to all the places you're gonna pass up this time sooner, rather than later. BTW, our health care is not free, just that it's already paid for, although I completely understand the desire and assessment -- wishing you continued pleasant travels and a safe trip back. Cheers!...from North Vancouver.
Let's go VA! I'm in Norfolk, bit further from where you were. Happy y'all are prioritizing health. The US is rough without insurance and even then it can be not so forgiving.
Well now you have a vacation to plan with the little one and show him/her all the new adventures! I see a van (something bigger) in the future and not three of y’all sleeping in the back of a car.
Yeah! Congratulations on your pregnancy 🎉 I’ve been watching your videos (just got a new phone & wasn’t logged into TY. ) Love seeing your travels… Asheville rocks so do boiled peanuts… Yum! I’m from the East Coast… you can go back especially to Philly & NYC… Travel the Coast more at another point! I’m sad we can’t host you in Boulder, CO ~ offer doesn’t expire 💗 Makes sense you want to head back to Canada 🇨🇦 Our healthcare is an expensive crapshoot. 😂😢 Enjoy your slow travel pace back 😊 Safe travels 🚙
You’ve probably already considered but flying home and back for some of the prenatal care could offer even a small extension for your adventure and still cost less than a single procedure in the US. Or even driving past the US eastern seaboard and cruising at your preferred pace back across Canada. Decisions around your first kid are hardest thanks to inexperience and usually (unavoidable) over-worry. Stay true to yourselves and it’s hard to go wrong with any of the decisions.
@@LeahandLevi the next year or two are fraught with weird things to navigate. From your respective journeys into being/feeling/acting like what you think being a parent means (the truth happens adjacent to these expectations) to the endless seemingly *life or death* choices around birth method, diapering, sleep habits, nursing/pumping/formula(gasp!), and which products. So. Many. Products. Being informed and thoughtful people you’ll learn to temper your research but will learn a new level of second guessing- from yourselves and every well meaning person with a voice-hole and/or a keyboard. Stay informed. Make the choices needed as you need with the information you have today. Few of these choices are indelible so take comfort in the discomfort of patiently waiting to see how each works out. Adjust as necessary. Everything seems overwhelming and fast now, but kids grow and their needs arise at a remarkably human pace. Find other parents at a similar point in the adventure. Talk and share about your experiences, worries, joys. You’ll find them similar and comforting. Mostly enjoy. Parenting is hard. And it’s freaking amazing. When it all seems overwhelming just sit back and smile at the beauty of your child(ren) that’s completely outside the realm and influence of these mostly unimportant choices.
Im glad you made the right call for your own sakes ❤️ emotional support is a huge thing especially during times like pregnancies. Question, sorry if you answered it: what about the people who rented your place? when are they due to leave and what will you do till then? Will you still get to Vancouver around May?
Great watch as always 👊🏿, I'm surprised you've never tried boiled peanuts, they are lovely. We do them as well in Zimbabwe. My dad absolutely loves them as an after dinner snack usually either that or boiled corn cobs or when you actually take the dry peanuts and corn and mix them together and sort of fry them in a pan with salt (with no oil).
Glad things are going well even with your road trip growing short. Hope when you travel again, you'll be able to see the sites you missed. Would you consider (once you're home) elaborating on your USA vs Canada health care experiences? A lot of us in the US hear frightening tales of Canadian citizens not getting timely care. Since you had a taste of American health care as a Canadian citizen, I'd love to hear your perspective. Safe and fun travels home!
This one had too many gems! Loved the irresponsible scooter riding - presumably practicing being parents with the whole do as we say not as we do thang!! 😂 Outstanding moment for me: "I don't know if they have enough American flags around it" 🌟 👍🏾🌟 Glad you're wending your way back - safe journey and enjoy! 💕
Since you mentioned Forrest Gump, someday when you return to the US for another road trip you need to go to Forrest Gump Hill in Monument Valley in Utah. It's where he stopped running.
Please guys when you come by Charlotte NC you both and the new member of the family are more than welcome to come to visit me and my family to stay in our house. Have a safe trip back to Canada 🇨🇦
Makes sense, sorry the US healthcare system is the worst! I hate it with a passion and can't even tell you how many hours I have spent battling billing issues, had have so many issues with providers, and insurance is an absolute nightmare...definitely smart to return to Canada where you won't have to worry about it and know you will be quality care that you've already paid for through your taxes.

Sooo cool to see you more in my neck of the woods (middle TN). Visited Asheville with family last year in the fall and it was very pretty. Congrats on the baby, going back for free healthcare definitely makes sense.
Happy to hear you’re on your way back to Canada! The maritimes aren’t going anywhere! You’ll love it when you get here. :) Cheers from NB!
Glad I wasn't the only one whose brain immediately turned to Forrest Gump, seeing that view 😅
And yes, the Maritimes and Quebec are awesome, and you should absolutely take the time to visit them - with or without kiddo(s) - when you do get the chance down the line. Cape Breton is particularly stunning.
Oh my goodness! I love the fact that you guys know Wild we roam! Two worlds collide! Fantastic. And each of you have reminded me of each other, but I never considered you knew each other. ❤
It's fun when youtube brings people together! 🥰🥰🥰
Once you cross the border you can still come to the maritimes, we had our baby at the IWK in halifax, highly recommend
Oh Canadian health care! Please annex Minnesota. The cost of that scan in the US would devastate your savings.
Enjoy the rest of your trip!!!
Humanity is so odd and beautiful at the same time.
Washington DC is so ostentatious. USA inc. is a beautiful place.
Glad you are enjoying yourselves ❤ Light & Love 💗
We agree! Thanks for the comment 🙏🏻❤️
I’m an American and 28 weeks pregnant for the first time and I’m also relieved for you to be going home! I couldn’t imagine the anxiety of not being in your own country when you need care more than ever in your life for most people! I’m from east coast and best time to visit os fall anyways in my opinion!!
Yes! We want to come back in the fall next time for sure!
Was watching wild we roam so I came over to your channel from watching!!
Awe that's so great! Thanks for being here!
I am so glad you are heading home. Can't wait to see you and your baby bump!
Hahaha yeah is very excited to actually be showing 🥰
Nice segue to getting the scooter...
Yes!!! Ashevile is lovely!!! I went to school there!!
It’s a whole thing which we’re still trying to figure out (our living situation when we come back to BC)
@@LeahandLevi would love a video about that, 'cause I was thinking the same thing. I sorta miss the apartment (and Leah's MEG! HAHAHA) and would like to know how that's all going to unfold.
@@LeahandLevi Hoping for the best!! At the very least you will have healthcare and familial support.
I think what I'm realizing is, no matter where you are in the world, there are cool places to see, and there will ALWAYS be more cool places that we can't get to in our lifetimes, and you just have to enjoy the current moment :)) the east coast will always be there, waiting for you
Yes! Exactly this! 🥹 hope you get back to the EU soon 🙏🏼
OMG my 2 favourite creators come together! Cant wait for next weeks video. Safe travels!
Love your channel
Love you 🥰❤️
So, if I understand you right, you like Slow(er) travel...? Can't argue with that. As someone who hates to be rushed, and hates rushing, your point is extremely sound in my books.
Hope you'll be able to get to all the places you're gonna pass up this time sooner, rather than later.
BTW, our health care is not free, just that it's already paid for, although I completely understand the desire and assessment -- wishing you continued pleasant travels and a safe trip back.
Cheers!...from North Vancouver.
Thanks Adrian! We've happy taking it slow and enjoying the process. 😎👍🏻
That’s what our vanlife and airstream videos have been about actually! Trying to find a option better suited for a family trip
Can’t wait to meet baby and see the new journey!!
Glad you visited Asheville. I live about 50 miles east of there.
A truly wonderful area. You're very lucky ❤️
I hope you enjoyed your stay in Asheville!
The more misspelled the sign, the better the peanuts. I always cracked them with my teeth and then picked out the peanuts with my hands.
One of the best episodes!❤
Yeah! Congratulations on your pregnancy 🎉 I’ve been watching your videos (just got a new phone & wasn’t logged into TY. ) Love seeing your travels…
Asheville rocks so do boiled peanuts… Yum!
I’m from the East Coast… you can go back especially to Philly & NYC… Travel the Coast more at another point!
I’m sad we can’t host you in Boulder, CO ~ offer doesn’t expire 💗
Makes sense you want to head back to Canada 🇨🇦 Our healthcare is an expensive crapshoot. 😂😢
Enjoy your slow travel pace back 😊 Safe travels 🚙
Thanks so much! We want to do another trip through the US and Canada and colorado and the western states are on the list!
Thanks for saying that. It's been a weird thing to navigate but we feel good about the choice. 🙏🏻
Love this! I don’t know why they never made it to Canada but it’s a new favourite 🥰
Boiled peanut is common here in the Philippines.. come visit us ❤❤❤
I'm so happy you went to Mellow Mushroom! When living in ATL it was a must
This one had too many gems! Loved the irresponsible scooter riding - presumably practicing being parents with the whole do as we say not as we do thang!! 😂
Outstanding moment for me: "I don't know if they have enough American flags around it" 🌟 👍🏾🌟
Glad you're wending your way back - safe journey and enjoy! 💕
So glad you liked it! haha gotta have fun (even if it's a little reckless 😜)
I live in North Florida and love boiled peanuts. You guys definitely will probably want it more often than you think!
I like Leah’s hair 🥰😂
Since you mentioned Forrest Gump, someday when you return to the US for another road trip you need to go to Forrest Gump Hill in Monument Valley in Utah. It's where he stopped running.
Hahaha yes! We wanted to hit it when we were in Moab but it was way too hot haha
Will you be coming to New Jersey at all?? I was really hoping to run into you guys here somewhere.. you guys need to see the jersey shore
Very responsible. 👍👍
Ah yes, of course you visit Dana and Lou and Max. Very cool! Watching from Victoria 👋
It was awesome! Can't wait for ya'll to see the video 🥰👍🏻
Please guys when you come by Charlotte NC you both and the new member of the family are more than welcome to come to visit me and my family to stay in our house. Have a safe trip back to Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you so much! 🥰🥰🥰
Looks like you're still having a great time. Hopefully you can hit Quebec City and have a quick visit with Mandolyn when you get there.
True! We have it on the list! 🙋🏻♂️👍🏼
I was hoping you were just going to quicken the trip to Canada and still go to the East Coast there. But I get wanting to be home!!
I am Mexican and boiled peanuts are amazing! Super Popular 👌
Oooh, you got to meet Dana & Lou (and Max!) ♡
As a dad I too got the watch for heart stuff, but then I met a cardiologist who pretty much debunked the watch as a useful tool.
Yeah after a couple weeks of wearing it I’m not convinced it’s actually that useful…
@@LeahandLevi the thing only monitors one point while the machine a doctor uses covers several. Plus I’m left handed so my watch is not on the best side.
