True.... investment and waiting period for organic farming...is can be done by money from other yearning.. only... After some...normals farmers also will join...only problem for them is converting chemical land to organic land..is time period... Three years is long for farmer who already in verge of suicides... Only by planning and doing change part by part of his land... Govt can only help small.farmers to move to organic farming.. by giving some subsidies..
Maybe people can form groups, divide their lands, efforts, and incomes for three years and survive based on that plus subsidies from government for those who join organic farming mode. We can even create a fundraiser which can support such farmers for three years, Will a population of billion and above, I think this is definitely possible.
