Hi Shawna. Just a few tips from an old cook. Butter burns too quickly and is not suitable for high temperature frying. Use oil, vegetable, olive, peanut, whatever you prefer. Add a little butter to the stockpot if you like the taste.
Don't pour the stock over the meat. Try fresh onions and garlic and season the meat with salt and pepper, maybe some herbs, like thyme.
Potatoes should be stored cool and dark.

I definitely forgot the oil on this sear. It was still very good though. I prefer avocado oil it has a little more stabilization for high heat.
So glad you see your content again! Idon't have a ton of time to watch so I only see what si recommended a lot of times - and for some reason the algorithm was not showing me it but the last 2 weeks or so I've been flooded and I'm thrilled! Time to go back and catch what I've missed!
It's not your pans. Usually, glass/flat cooktops will get those stains from condensation from pots and pans while cooking. I have one and I have to clean it each and every night. If something spills you have to clean it right away because it will burn and then become a pain to clean. Personally, I don't like electric stoves, but that's really all I've seen here in the South since moving here.

I have a weekly cleaning biweekly cleaning and monthly deep cleaning list that I follow and I have a one a year or six month cleaning list and I follow it and it helps me to stay on top off cleaning and keeping my house organized and I have a infant baby a 2 year old and a 4 year old and I am a full time student at college and I am going to start working soon

Good morning Shawna! I love decluttering and getting things in order and organized too. You give me lots of motivation. Can I suggest something... the shoe bin that you have in your foyer, why don't you outfit in your closet by the front door? It would free that space and make it look less congested. Just a suggestion.
I really wanted to but I knew info did the shoes would just become thrown in the closest floor eventually and I don’t want the mirrored doors constantly opened for shoes so they don’t break. I need a shelving solution because no one will always leave the shoes in their room as of yet either.

Yes the hair in the fans! I hate cleaning them..I usually bring all my fans outside and spray them down with the hose lol
I wanted to use a spray inside but wasn’t sure if it would ruin the electrical stuff inside. I have one more larger square fan I need to clean I should take outside.
Vacuum cleaner broom does a good picking up animal hair and dust.

@@MomLikelyI have diatomaceous earth just sitting under my cabinet because I don’t want to make it into a slurry. So did you just put down the powder and it was fine?
@WoahItsKwo yes absolutely. Make sure you cover your face with a mask to ensure you don’t breath it in. It’s safe once it’s down just can’t breathe it in. I have a bottle with a tip on it so it can be layed down kind of like calk. I put it along the walls and in spots where I saw ants nears cracks or anywhere in or outside. You can sprinkle under appliances also . If it’s in the kitchen I would keep it out of wear it gets wet but you can shove it under cabinet along the doors and near trash. I’m gonna sprinkle some in my outside trash cans to because I’m sick of the flies and maggots.

Thanks. Idk I never have. My family never did either. Not sure if it really makes a difference and for things like this it being wet would have ruined my process but not survives that heat unless you use bleach but that’s crazy . Lol
You will be surprised at the stuff that comes off meat when you rinse it. Of course, you don't use bleach duh all my life my parents taught me to always rinse over your meats except bacon.
@@CarolynMckenzie-he8wu I even rise my bacon. Because we don't know what they might have done to it. I don't know why everybody thinks when meat is on a fire that helps. My Mom always said you could get worms in your but.
You can eliminate all that dog hair by putting those HUGE dogs OUTSIDE!!!
