Ok, that was good. Now maybe consider doing a video where you "shave" the stubble. Adding a beard would be easy, but getting good skin tones while removing the stubble would be awesome.

in the older versions of photoshop, i used to make sharp hair using smudge tool. but in newer versions, smudge tool works different. what's the problem here? how can we make sharp thorn-like hair in newer versions of photoshop?

He'd just have more dedication with the mask tool. His videos are meant to introduce the tools and resources, so it's great that he saves us time just showing the method. The complications demand more time to spend, it's something we must take into consideration in when working with Photoshop, but would turn the tutorial boring.

Simple trick to fix messy hair....give that person a comb and some styling gel. BAM! Fixed. ;-D
