The bible is largely silent about the years preceding Jesus’ public ministry, except for a short section in the Gospel of Luke, in chapter 2, where we are told about the 12 year-old Jesus. Between this section to the next, when Jesus is an adult, there is an 18 year gap. In this talk, Abel shares about what happened in the 18 year period: when Jesus grew in wisdom, stature and favour, modelling for us how we too can grow.
