I do miss that the other trucks are not sitting on the side of the arena during Freestyle though. That is a nice touch.

in Monster Jam Steel Titans u can literally back flip off of basically any wall/invisible wall...
The first game have almost cartoon like handling but this game is more to the realistic side
I appreciate that they fixed the power out physics and the crazy out of control spinning and bouncing while crashing
But it was helpful for freestyle
I really like the increased suspension bounce and overall improved physics in the newer game, although as many have pointed out, they did toned down the graphic detail. If they're already making the third game, I hope it blends the best of both titles.
They need to use the scale they use for the arena and make that the stadium scale. It’s way too big!
Both have their perks in my opinion. The First game's handling was... a game. Second game fixes ALOT of that, but a few stunts are hard to do now, which it SHOULD be that way, but I can't really get Slap wheelies going in 2 like I could in 1, and flat tracking/drifting in 2 feels much more skill oriented than in 1, but personally it felt abit smoother to do such in the first game.... until you hooked an edge and started flipping.... boi.

I'd like to see the studio that Made Motorstorm and later Onrush have a crack at a Monster Jam game.
In a lot of places the ramps r still bigger than the monster trucks in both games that’s why I like it and in mjst2 the trucks r more controllable

@Doge Fan I don’t disagree but the physics on steel titans 2 is more realistic cus when you hit the ground in steel titans 1 then the truck is like static and almost has no reaction from hitting the ground. Meanwhile on steel titans 2, the truck has better reactions.
I hope the next one has more improvements; these 2 games don't seem all too different other than handling
Which one is easier? Like closer to monster jam 2007 or monster jam urban assault physics
ST2 still seems kinda "floaty" and "light" like the last one, but not as bad.
I like steel Titans 2 but one thing I don't like it is that every time on free ride I cannot change vehicles I have to start over again the map compares the first one I liked it better when you change vehicles and leave the Tire marks all over the track

Have both on Xbox One. The first one was on sale for 15 dollars so i figured i would try it , loved it and bought ST2 and its even better :). I love how you can freeroam with your friends

WOW!. This is one of those times where the Dev's F-ed up on the second release. In the first one the graphics look better, the tires get dirtier the more you drive and in the second one they look to stay clean the whole time, the sound sounds much better then the second one. In all I think I'll just keep my money and hope the third is much better then the first two.

@@whatthevic after trying it I totally love it. I actually bought it full price after watching many many many gameplay videos and I have to say I thoroughly enjoy it and it's like 10 times better than the first one. I actually look forward to beating the whole thing 100%.

But honestly I love em all. I grew up playing monster truck madness as a kid..that game was epic! Had free roam too
In my opinion steel Titans 2 is mich better graphics are better, you can do a nose wheele with a basic truck and the trucks are much faster
So which one should i get first 1 or 2?

So all in all is Steel Titans 2 worth it? I've played and liked the first so I'm not sure.
It's an improvement over the first one for sure, but I wouldn't pay full price for it.
If it goes on sale pick it up but don’t spend to much on it. It’s definitely one of those games you’d get if it went on for a good sale

i hated the 1st game i couldnt find the 50th monster jam logo collectible and there was barely anything to do (to have fun) in it and the overworld was soooo boring
