    This explanation of the liner was extremely helpful! This bag was a real puzzle for me but now I understand how it all goes together. Thanks 🙏🏻

    I like my pockets to be deeper, so I cut the lining even longer. I am then able to throw in my keys, scissors, whatever without worrying about them falling out of the pockets.

    Curious, working on this pattern now. WHY would you not use the soft & stable behind the OUTSIDE? I would want to quilt those squares either in the ditch, or cross hatch. Can you use a different type of fusible interfacing on the lining?

    Do you fuse the fleece ?interfacing on the pocket section before you sew it in

    About how many 2 1/2" squares end up on the bottom of the bag ? I am going to make the bag. I want darker squares on the bottom, since it sets on floor etc. So I was trying to figure out how many squares/lines per section end up on the bottom.

    • @Quiltsmart
      @Quiltsmart  Před 5 lety +2

      Mary Lynch look to see where the diagonal lines are on the bottom of the interfacing, that is where the fold is and below that is where you would place your darker colors. You can count them out there.

    So what is your best advice if I forgot to cut my lining rectangles out and I already have the outside of the bag together? Are there measurements I can use so that I can get this bag together?

      Tracy Finnell let me talk to our designer. Stand by.

    • @Quiltsmart
      @Quiltsmart  Před 3 lety +1

      Tracy Finnell They are in the instructions... step 5 (I think). If your instructions are super old (years), they might not be in there, and also if it is super old, your bag might be 13 squares long instead of 12 which they have been for over 2 years.
      Theoretically, the squares finish at 2". So, (4) 2" squares across plus seam allowance at each side would = 8.5". (12) squares long x 2" finished plus seam allowance = 24.5", so - 8.5" x 24.5". We hope this helps!

    Where can I buy the pattern? And what are the measurements of triangles

    • @lavellewallace9944

      Helga Watt I’m afraid we don’t understand the questions about the triangles, as there aren’t any. You can find the pattern at your local quilt store or on our website at: www.quiltsmart.com/shop/c/p/Mondo-Bag-Pack-x37082507.htm.

      The bag is made up of 4 rectangles. The everything fits together, it appears to be made with triangles at the top.

    • @Quiltsmart
      @Quiltsmart  Před 5 lety

      Mary Lynch there are no triangles, but when sewn together the top edge look like triangles, it’s simply the way the bag finishes up... Hope this helps...
