You’d think he’d learn to: A) Use a heavy character because they’re easily the best B) Stop spamming the triple shrooms as soon as he gets them C) DRIFT
It's not that he can't drift, it's just that he can't drift _well_ and half the time he tries drifting he ends up going too sharp or not sharp enough and winds up off track. I don't think using the flame runner is going to help him stay on track, I think the mach bike would be simpler for him to handle and learn how to properly drift with. As for the triple shroom spam, yeah, no excuse there. He just needs to smarten up. That's not even a "get good" moment, because no amount of practice can offer someone enough common sense to realize that turbos are better on straightaways or wider roads.

I'd say Blooper or POW block, *maybe* triple Reds for the worst item. Bob-Omb can definitely be up there but it's a fun meme. Everything else has too much of a proper place that helps balance the game.

I've just played the game that I've come to respect all of the items. - Triple Mushroom is good for shortcuts and speeding along, used sparingly - Golden Mush is my favorite item in the game, because it's a bullet that you can control to take shortcuts and make sure you don't get dropped off at a wall. - Blue Shell is necessary to stop someone from cruising in first all the time, DOuble Dash made me appreciate it considering how rare it is and once someone is that far ahead, you need it to stop them. - Thunder Cloud has its use that it gives both a speed boost, and immense off-road boosts so you can cut corners to catch opponents more easily, or to win races if it comes down to it.
