  • Ours is an age of acute empirical perception that affords spectacular scientific and technological developments, but our age is also an epoch of dire spiritual dullness leading to a deep poverty of the soul. This lack of spiritual perceptivity engenders a profound sense of emptiness and meaninglessness. To recover meaning we need to rediscover the paths of unseen existences.

His sermons help recaptivate (and recapitulate) the childlike wonder and enchantment of experiencing God that get lost in the mundanities of everyday life.

Speaking as a cradle catholic who takes his faith seriously and has attended several faith development courses, I have never heard the whole meaning of Christianity explained so concisely , these promptings were always there but sad to say I just hadn't noticed them. Thank you God Bless.

Great preach. I am at present reading Brian Zahnds book Water To Wine is an amazing book it's challenging me so deeply yet at the same time touching my heart in a profound way.

This message requires so much deeper focus than most afford to it. The revelation however when you do gives you a much deeper grasp of who God is....perhaps I should have referred to this in the first person. Prayer should not be seen as boring but as an encounter with your best friend.....again from a first person perspective I must view it as that. I could go on but this message has so much in it that I'll need to listen over and over again. Thanks Brian!!

Every neighborhood has holy places. There's a tree I hug. There's a water feature on a lawn. Thin places are e'where.

Paul Ricouer called this adult child-likeness a “second, willed naïveté” - James Fowler calls it a conjunctive faith. I love that quote “wisdom is the recovery of innocence at the far end of experience”

Yet again, fantastic message! I get so much out of Pastor Brian's words. Hallelujah for big thinkers who can so beautifully share the goodness of God.

Less than 60 seconds in and this dude is already talking about donating money.
    Good grief. 😢
This church has lost so many members over the years it's unbelievable.
Once he started with spiritism nonsense and giving honor to the Catholic Church, people had seen enough.
This church and pastor is lost.
