My kid hates the words unschooling and homeschooling but he does love the idea that he goes somewhere for dynamic kids who are too awesome for school to handle, ha!

My state, NY, requires homeschool parents to follow the 900 hours of schooling rules and curriculum of our choice… my baby girl is turning 6. I don’t think I’m going to register as a homeschool kid because they still will test her and they want quarterly reports. What do you recommend? She’s never been to school but I just learned about unschooling. Thanks

I do not mind the term unschooling - actually like it, but I know it rubs some people the wrong way. How about child driven, life learning? Or just life schooling?

I'd encourage you to not use animated GIFs in your future slide decks. They distract from what you are saying and the great info you are sharing.
