Enhancing the Effectiveness of Policy-based Lending: Insights from Evaluation

IED is participated in this year’s gLOCAL Evaluation Week 2024 on June 6th in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The event highlighted the critical role of policy-based lending in addressing global challenges such as climate change, pandemics, and fragility, with a special focus on Sri Lanka's context. IED presented lessons drawn from its Review of ADB's Policy-Based Lending report which evaluated ADB's experience with policy-based lending and identified good practices and constraints. Over 120 attended the hybrid event.
