Waste Management: Mack LR McNeilus Curotto Can Garbage Truck

- Well, here is one of the newest residential trucks running out of WM's Burnsville yard. We received two of these LR Atlantics back in January, but the Curottos didn't show up until about March. Up until that point, they ran commercial routes - which is why they don't look super "new."
I was beyond thrilled to hear that Burnsville finally got something other than ZRs. These trucks will mainly be running yard waste routes, but since yard waste pickup doesn't start until next week, they've been filling in elsewhere. This truck is seen collecting garbage in a bunch of townhome complexes in Bloomington. Not a ton of cart variety unfortunately but that'll be different once they start picking up yard waste. The last clip was filmed on a different day which I believe was one of the Curotto's first day on route.

The Mack LR is the neatest looking truck ever! Awesome! At 6:44 there were icicles dangling from the bottom on the cab.
I did find the video! This is pretty cool to see and nice production. This truck is a lot of fun to drive. Also, my daughter is stoked that I'm on youtube. Lol. See you guys around!

Great find man, so glad to see you got to film it! This is definitely my favorite McNeilus front loader, although I do wish that they would have put the tanks on the roof so the truck isn’t that big. It sure is a change of pace from all the ZRs up there too, it looks like it works really well for these routes. I can’t wait to see it on yard waste either, nice video!

Sweet video Noah! Man, you got this up fast! So happy you got to document this, definitely strange seeing a WM Curotto up there, lol. I really like how this truck looks, even the CNG integration looks great, I think McNeilus definitely has the best looking CNG tailgates. I do think this truck looks too big though, but I suppose this area isn’t very tight. Still not a fan of the new grippers but they work alright here. Cool to see them not using the auto dump too. Crazy to think it’s snowing up there today, definitely cool though. Great job on this one!

A welcomed change for sure! Nice to see new Macks and Curottos out there! Thing seems wayyyy too long though. As much as I love tag axle trucks, I think a 3 axle FL with roof mounted tanks would be the best fit for the yard, especially since the rest of the resi fleet is 3 axle. Sucks that the tarp was stuck in the bucket, should probably just take that off if they aren't planning on using it. Loved seeing that Burt's cart get dumped! Grippers seemed to hug it pretty nicely but doesn't seem to work well with the 32s haha not a fan in general of the new gripper design. Hope this truck sticks with one driver - it would be awesome to see a seasoned driver use this truck. This guy was really good too, especially since these haven't been on the road all that long. Snow was a cool touch to the video btw. Fantastic video man!! Happy to see this!
In our yard, we have this parked by the other Front Loaders, the reason this one is so big is because it's going to be used for Bloomington Yard Waste. I'm really proud of this driver, he is new, and really good

Great work Noah! So stoked to see BV is switching it up. Wouldn’t mind seeing more for trash and recycle. This guy seems to already be a pro with this truck. Grippers struggles as per usual. Holy crap these trucks are huge. Do you know how many yards they are? Gotta be more that 32. Great video! Hopefully I can catch one when I’m up there next! Keep up the great work!

It's set to drive at a slower speed 9nbthe stand up side, the left side is for faster driving
