    Great setup and strategy as usual, also the video quality is top notch thank you for doing this. Clearing Carnage Baal in less than 8 hours is truly and achievement, congrats.
    I do wonder how do you go about farming those carnage elixirs, as I have no better method than treasure route, lots of fillers and checking the damn bonus bar every single stage + 2 units on the item adventure squad with aggresive spying to get those 10 levels as fast as possible and pray the store is selling more than 1.
    Christo in this video: Hey wasn't I supposed to buff the Sage?... Never mind, I'll just watch safely from the base panel.

      I was wondering how long it'd take for someone to notice the time. Truthfully this wasn't actually done in a single 7-8h playthrough though, this file was used for testing various ideas and I reloaded a lot to redo parts once I decided what I wanted to do. Basically this file just exists to get a rough idea of what's possible. Also don't get your hopes up for an actual speedrun, this would still be long enough to be a serious commitment.
      For normal play I'd suggest just keeping any Carnage Elixirs you get while maxing items. What I did for this though was go into the Carnage Mushroom Soup on 20* and spam divers to go from floor 1 -> 11 -> 21 etc (with Boss Floor Forever turned OFF) and buy any Carnage Elixirs the shop had. Enemy strength matters for the Innocent Town shop btw. It took about an hour to get enough (doing in on 0* by mistake on a previous test took around 2 hours).
      Christo did buff the Sage, he just didn't sit adjacent to anyone while they were attacking.

      @@blueeyesmew Thanks for the tip on the Elixirs, still I think there are merits on using thieves and aggresive spying to farm elixirs, the most important is that you can grind your subclasses at the same time.
      Anyways hope to see more of your nice strategies in the future. Take care.

    Great build for a 20 mil setup, thanks. I do wonder how you learned about 20-group squads having max damage output at 225 members? I assume each member is a % increase in damage output, but how did you figure out that it stops at 225? Relatedly, what % damage increase does a 20-group squad have over any other squad less assigned members?

    • @blueeyesmew
      @blueeyesmew  Před 13 dny +1

      @@j_ason_rpg The workings of squad attack were first tested experimentally, then later some players were able to reverse engineer the workings of some parts of the game.
      Squad Attack with a lone squad leader has a skill modifier of 101% (basically barely stronger than a normal attack). This modifier is multiplied by a multiplier that starts at 1, with each extra squad member increasing this multiplier based on the number of prisoners. At 225+ prisoners each extra squad member adds 0.5 to the multiplier, for a max of an extra 19 * 0.5 = 9.5 added to that base of 1 (so 10.5 total). Overall this results in a skill modifier of 101% * 10.5 = 1060.5% (which is why it deals so much damage).
      A 10-member squad would max at a 5.5 multiplier for a 555.5% skill modifier.

      @@blueeyesmew I've been thinking of testing this myself, but do you know if destroying Item World objects (via Trash Pickup) counts towards the Kill Bonus? If so, that could be a very cheap way to boost KB considerably.

      @@j_ason_rpg I can't remember if scenery counts, but deathblows don't count anyway. Also, as I believe you've discovered, Comet Disaster doesn't target scenery.

      @@blueeyesmew Thanks for responding both here and on GameFaqs :D
      Do you happen to know if Land Decimator affects scenery? There's a chance it might since it affects everyone on the field - ally and enemy - unlike Comet Disaster. Once I hard cap my equipment and get an extra 50 mil in stats, I might try out a Land Decimator build since I'll likely have enough power to not need Comet Disaster

    • @blueeyesmew
      @blueeyesmew  Před 9 dny

      @@j_ason_rpg I don't think Land Decimator hits scenery but I haven't used it in the IW for a long time. With max stats I'd still prefer a CD rotation over LD to avoid accuracy issues.

    I wish I knew about Marking evility since the way I win this stage used support attack evility ... Although it was an overkill I believe
    After that I remember I try to create a map but then I stopped because I don't think anybody care about a challenging map

    • @blueeyesmew
      @blueeyesmew  Před 3 lety

      A lot of things took far too long to be realised/discovered, for various reasons.
      There are definitely people who care, but unfortunately only the PS4 version lends itself well to sharing those maps. The Switch version seems to only show the last few maps to be (re-)uploaded and lacks a search feature, and the Steam version doesn't have user maps at all.

    This might be a silly question, but why are the bears bouncing the geo symbols different distances?

    • @blueeyesmew
      @blueeyesmew  Před 3 lety

      They aren't, the bounces are all 7 panels (which is the throw stat of a generic Bear). Maybe there's some confusion because my first throw bounces past another Bear?

      @@blueeyesmew Actually I have another question I can't seem to find. I beat carnage Lieze, but it didn't make the carnage dark show up. It's the last achievement I have and that lieze fight sucked. lol. I have no clue how to get carnage dark to show up. Any ideas? Also as a related note, I wonder if you'd make one of these low requirement videos for both carnage lieze and carnage dark? I've seen some other vids out there, but the one has tons of char world stuff, and the evility slot you get from dark, when he's trying to show lieze.. >.< anyway, thanks.
