Hi, I have the same problem. I discovered that the problem is when the air humidity is high, so I try to dry the dashboard with hair dryer and it always work🙂. Kicking is working too, but the garage advice is not to do it often.
I had the same problem in my Corsa C. And I also had errors P1616 and P1613. It's caused by too loose connection between the clocks and the plug (a common Corsa C defect). To solve it, you need to dismantle the clocks and stiffen the connection. You can use a regular dish sponge or something like that. It helped me.
Wtf? Today morning my turn signals stopped working, so I checked the fuses and then it won't start at all. Fuel pump not priming, dashboard lights didn't work. Used your advice and everything works now 😄
Had the same problem with a rental Opel Corsa. Was caused by the immobilizer, though the warning is engine failure. Putting the car on handbrake a couple of times fixed the problem.

its normally the bulb that blows, if you can still see the digits but it doesn't shine orange its the little bulb, bit late i guess but hopefully it helps someone

Today i got the same problem. Got Error to start the Engine. I start the car in the end of day its get started nicely then i traveled 3 km. And stop the engine after 30 minutes later when i spin the key but it didn't get start. I was confused that what happened wrong with starter motor. I check bettery and all the electronics indications on speedometer but everything was everything works properly. I took help from someone to push and its get started After that i start and switched off the engine many times but there's no problem anymore... I didn't understand what happened that time why car didn't get started... If anyone knows please reply
Just knock the dashboard, or go to an service an remove the dashboard and do the connection with dash again, for me just an easy knok in the dash fixed the problem☺

Lifesaver! Just knock at the dash…a little hard knock fixed mine. I saw a comment saying that soldering every capacitors is a permanent fix.

Had the same problem. Disconnected battery for 5 mins to reset CPU. Reconnected battery and fault cleared.

I fixed the problem for good.
I sent the dashboard to an electrician and he checked the electronics board and welded every single capacitor.

I have same problem but my heater too doesnt work and window clear too .Any idea? The car stopped cause the battery gone wrong
connector behind the instrument panel is losse. make a better connection with some thick tape op litte sponge rubber.

You should knock at the dashboard, and the problem will cease. This is a contact error.

Maybe the diesels air locked because you have ran it with no diesel try puttin diesel in leave it couple hours and try it again if not bleed the pump

Temporary solution is knocking on the dash board, might be the immobilizer or dash conectors.
