fyi for those who are planning to use other programming languages, its very rare for the first index in a list, table or array to be 1, it will almost always be [0] as the first index, and [1] as the second.

Iv'e been searching for lessons on lua code for a while now I tried youtube didn't work then I tried paying for lessons forgot everything, until you posted idk how but you're a better teacher than those who get paid to teach

ive had a game plan for days and that was a sword game, not just any sword game but one where you craft swords, have an online market in which you can sell and buy, you can make your own customizable sword with special abilities and perks, with cool blades and handles and stuff and you can also sword fight and see which one is the best. now i didnt explain the entire thing in too much detail but yeah

I find it helpful to to put the oposite of what you put when I watched these videos that way my brain isn't thinking it's just copying you, even though I technically am. I always do it on my own later to get better

if you already know programming, in lua/roblox a table is just a dictionary, array or whatnot

It really depends if i have to update it manually. If i want to create a big and complex game, i will also have to update it to keep a costant playerbase.

me : *puts a single number in every table and continue*
You can also use things like table.find within things like table.remove, such as:
table.remove(myTable, table.find(myTable, "Hello!"))
This will index 1 (or wherever "Hello!" is) and remove it within the same line.

I would create a realistic story game with realistic graphics because like we see assasian creed and last of us like that games are there on different engines but in roblox engine there is no such games like that means there are but very few thats why im learning scripting to make people know that realistic games are also good not only low poly simulators

Guys, if you don't know where something is in a table the easier way to find it is just put table.find(myTable,"???") as the index. for example: table.remove(myTable,table.find(myTable,"hello!")) .

If I could make any game from the click of a button, I would make a really realistic survival game, you'd die from malnutrition if you only at steak, you can't punch down a tree, you need to make a good quality pot to hold water.
hmm this tables episode was a bit more challenging for me haha but ill keep on practicing and rewatching the video until I understand :)

great question the whole point I want to learn how to code is to make a game its like gonna be a CC perma death midevil fighting game where and its gonna have a hard parry system and where if you get hit its gonna actually do some dmg like if someone hits you with a sword irl its gonna leave a mark

These videos definitely could have used a script (as in something for you to read and what to teach, in what order), as you, with all due respect, sort of go all over the place sometimes. Going from "lets do ____" to "lets do ____ first, and get rid of ____ for now." when its already there yk?
