Oh its very easy,get some elactic and measure your face forward and up and down and diagonal (make sure the diagonal part goes on your jawline) and then attach it to the fursuit head for a moving jaw. This works better with smaller jaws like cats, because you have to open your mouth less
Personally, I see fursuiting as another form of cosplaying your characters. I love that people like to use it as a way to perform their character's personality with accuracy. However, I talk in suit because it is not necessarily indictative of the character's entire personality or even anatomy (i.e. some of my characters are feral and walk on all fours but I'm not interested in quad suiting) but more rather whatever is most comfortable for me when fursuiting. I do wanna bring their personalities to life through fursuiting sometime but I'm fine with talking in fursuit as myself for now; and also, some of my characters are fursonas so why not?
Fursuiting is a form of art! The amount of skill it takes to not only make the costumes but to embody another character altogether is no different to the people acting on the big screen. Plus it's a great way for people like myself who have crippling anxiety to actually interact with others and have a ton of fun while doing so! Damn, I really need to get a fullsuit done at some point - been wanting to for years!
There are a ton less people who want to bring their suit to life, and it kinda makes me depressed? Like it makes it where actual suit performers are so much less common - making the general population thag goes there extremely awkward about it, sees it as weird/bad, and makes it where no one wants to do it anymore.
People need to stop hating on furries everyone has their way of coping and this is a common way to escape your past trauma because your living in a different reality for a while so the stress goes away. Sorry if it seems strange to you but that doesn't give yall the right to put down nasty hate comments. How would you feel if someone hated the way you coped with past trauma and if you don't have past trauma then you clearly don't understand.

I was a kid in the furry fandom in the 2000s, and the stupid "rules" people had back then were so annoying, and I am glad people don't care about them anymore. I mean stuff involving "breaking the magic" such as wearing only a head and paws and letting your bare arms show (which I guess is called poodling), or taking your head off outside a headless lounge. I am especially glad that poodling isnt getting made fun of anymore, because sometimes people can only afford mini partials and dont want to bother with hiding their arms with sleeves or a hoodie
I use a squeaker with my dragon sona, i made the head big enough for my glasses so i just tied a string to the squeaker and hook it to my glasses to either keep me from inhaling it, or make it so i can get it out if i do inhale it. And it also allows me to hold it out of my mouth using the string so i can still speak normally if i had to.

When I make my own partial, I was actually planning on using a dog squeaker for this! (I was going to use a smallish pipe to make it so I couldn't swallow it but it fit in my mouth aswell!)
Oh hey, I knew Flux back then! He was great. I always attributed the squeaker talking trick to Telephone but Flux was an early-adopter for some of the newer trends in fursuiting back then. I never considered that he was helping pioneer them. Things like having a 'brand' to the suit, with his swirl and two dots symbol being his trademark. Having high-detail symbols sewn into fur was still pretty new and expensive back then, with usually only the most experienced fursuit makers offering it as an option. Also, the jaw on that head, especially the second version, had INSANE throw compared to almost any other.
I was extremely filled with joy when I saw telephone. For some reason when it first showed telephone, the breeze sounded nostalgic like when I used to live in New York
The noises Telephone makes is the type of noises I just love lol I also find that talking is sometimes needed for fursuiting like when somebody asks questions or something but otherwise noises like that or jus silent acting is probably good to help the magic of the fursuit.

Furries aside, character acting when it comes to identity concealing costumes is not something to take lightly, and especially since they have self-imposed rules to stay in character. Getting around communication issues with shit like this takes a lot of thought, implementation, and proper use. furries are cringe, but so is the rest of the internet. This shit is cool.
All of it is really just another way of bringing the character to life. Whether the character speaks with a discernable language or not shouldn't matter. If anything, I'm most impressed by the quality of the suits themselves. Store bought or homemade, there's an absurd amount of talent that goes into putting those things together.
For anyone looking: These are called whacky whistles and can mimic animals sounds (monkey,bird etc) when usually they stick to the roof of you mouth and you make a sound and the whistle will make a animal sound (ex: You say boom and a birds chirp will come out with it)
