This weekend, the box office was sacked by the Super Bowl, as moviegoers stayed away from theaters in droves. The total weekend gross was only $40 million, which is the lowest year-to-date figure for 2024. The spy thriller Argylle topped the chart with a meager $6.2 million, followed by the horror comedy Lisa Frankenstein with $3.7 million.
