Wow!!! Incredible!!! I lived in the Dakotas for about 5 years and had the privilege of working with and becoming friends with Oglagla Sioux that grew up on the Rosebud rez in SD. I met even more in treatment at Keystone in Canton, SD. There is and always will be a spot in my heart for the Native American people, especially the Lakota. The Black Hills belong to them. Period.

I’m from a reserve in Northern Manitoba as well , Rez life Ain’t easy as well I grew up without a dad and my mom was a single mother raising me and my sister all by herself and we struggle a lot financially and didn’t have no support from my or my sisters own dad and people tried to change to have a troubled life I didn’t let them.
But no matter how much times I’ve fell flat on my face I’ve always got back up right away and kept going!

This popped up in my feed. I'm from Chicago the ghettos. I was born on the Westside my momma moved us up north after being homeless as a child. Then I was in a foster home after being abused by bio father and the home was abusive as well. I was thrown out and homeless, went to trade school. Worked for the trade school made a friend then left to the military. I was gone for so long and came home mentally and physically broken. Diagnosed with ptsd and now I am still poor but I'm living and have a roof over my head. Sometimes I wish I had money wealth to do so much more, but I do what I can to educate and I've had a few people just talk to me because they had been s.cidal. I don't what it is I had someone say I just have some sort of healing about me. Keep the music going. 🤍❤💛🖤
