I mean, don't get it twisted, we LOVE Tim's bass bombs! BUT, not at the cost of the musicality. You nailed it when you said that it's still special when he drops the bottom out! And definitely during their concerts, people want to "feel" they got their money's worth. I love that he teases leading up to those notes! We all know it's coming and the tease makes it just that much more satisfying! Especially when he just holds and holds the note, never wavering off of it! Beast Mode indeed! Great reaction as always! ❤
I've heard they are trying to go to the UK in 2023. They are also trying to get back to Australia. I'm hoping they can for all the Home Fries and reactors that want to see them will be Able to ❤❤

I was at this concert with my husband. That low note shook the whole theater! Every cell in your body vibrates when he does it. My poor husband got “Fousted”. His ears rang for 3 weeks after!! ❤❤❤❤

I love how at the beginning how they're all just lounging around, looking at us like "Yeah. We're just gonna sing something you might like now. And it's so easy for us. Hope you like it." Wow.
I really enjoyed that. What a great live performance! These guys sound as good live as their studio versions. Tim is truly in a league by himself. He can hit those low notes like no one else.

The JAw Harp is on the looper he starts it live, than Adam samples it in the looper and plays it the rest of the way.

in the original song he hits an E1 with chest-fry mix but here it sound like more of an F1 rather then an E1 also he hit the live note in chest voice.

I saw Home Free in August, my 7th show, lol, & sat front row. towards the end of show fans were able to go up by the stage for like the last 4 songs of the show.
I happened to be right beside speaker in middle cause I wanted to see Austin ❤ smiling and dancing as always ❤,
They played these 2 songs like this, & when Tim did the low note it seemed like an earthquake. 😂

I just love the live videos. Even though the audio might be a little compromised (depending on the cell 'phone used & the venue's acoustics), they're usually even better than the studio videos. I'm so grateful to those people who take HF concert videos and share them with the rest of us!

I can tell you after the one concert that I went to this past summer that hearing them live is an experience like none other. I could feel the bass shaking the building and my entire body. I was on my feet, but I have no doubt that seat would have been vibrating! 😘 Thank you to Iris Short for requesting this video!
And that is why I'll take Tim over Geoff every time, Geoff hits his lows in every song whether it calls for it or not, Tim saves them for the right moment to blow us out of our seats.
Tim is also alot better live and off mic. So some of voiceplays live stuff recently and Geoff couldn't get the G1s out.

I agree with you completely! Tim is about serving the arrangements and choosing the right times to rumble us to the core when we are seeing them live.
THIS! I have been saying this as one of my only criticisms of VoicePlay. I think the bass drops, in some cases, is used more as a gimmick then fitting the piece.

I think you may have missed the dopa dopa doo’s that were going on for a while already in Folsom Prison Blues :) subtle but there :)
That is actually one of my issues with Voiceplay. Really deep bass or sudden bass drops don't make musically sense in every song. If you do "normal" bass and just use the really deep stuff for when it really fits the song it has a completely different effect.
With Voiceplay I often just think that this specific bass drop or part didn't make the song better, and I do enjoy bass singing.
