What a drive!!! I LOVE Norway!!! This, again, is another road that most people wouldn't know about, and I'm so glad that you are bringing these roads to our viewing pleasure. Norway is a country that is beautiful, but a lot isn't known about it. Most people think that Norway is snow and ice all year around. Those of us that watch these videos regularly, know that it isn't all ice and snow. Norway has stunning scenery, vistas, and fjords that are beyond words and descriptions. Thank you for bringing us another road with stunning scenery. It is harsh looking, but it has beauty all of its own. I truly appreciate all you have done, and loving your sense of adventure.THANK YOU!!!

Me and the boyfriend at the time drove this route for fun 3 years ago - Instead of doing Lærdalstunnelen back and forth to visit Borgund stav chuch, we did Aurlandsfjellet to, and then Lærdalstunnelen back to the hotel. It was very interesting, we had to stop, and pick up rocks that we would have otherwise hit the car. Real sense of exploration. :D

World's longest road tunnel is in the bedrock 1000 meter beneath!

Great video as always. Pity it's not the whole route from fjord to Laerdal. Thank you for the videos. I'm watching closely as I'm planning to do a bicycle tour in Norway for 14 days in summer 2020 and I'm watching the roads I'm planning to cycle. This is one of those 👍😉 What's the best time to cycle in Norway in terms of good weather? July or August? I'm planning first two weeks in August.

So far I've visited three times in June, had excellent weather as you can see in the videos, but the weather was less favorable in August each time. It makes quite a difference which area you visit though, while Bergen has the most precipitation of any major city in Europe, some inland valleys have very low amounts of rain, I've read about valleys receiving less than 400 mm per year, which is comparable to the more arid regions of Spain.

Going there a few years ago, we could not decide - take the tunnel or the pass road? We ended up driving a loop: tunnel - pass road - tunnel. It was worth it!

Really enjoyed that. I drove the pass in September 2018 (czcams.com/video/PMf4cjBqSf4/video.html) but in the opposite direction and there was very little snow up there so it was good to see the road living up to its name in your video.
