Sortation System at UK Mail's National Hub

beumergroup.com ► The purpose-built hub has the capacity to accommodate UK Mail’s continued growth well into the future and has enabled the group to further automate part of its parcel operation. As part of the layout of the sortation system, UK Mail and the BEUMER Group team focused on designing a solution that would enable the system to be extended in the future - an essential consideration in these days of booming e-commerce growth.
With the installation of new automated sortation equipment, UK Mail was able to increase the proportion of parcels it handled automatically.
