Well the designer of vira did mention using both jin and tsubaki as inspirations for her while they were playing continuum shift with the other devs. Hence also why they wanted arcsys to make the fighting game too.
@@Zero-fx8pc Well the whole inspiration was based on tsubaki mostly, where how someone so serene and composed loses all logical reasoning for obsessing for one person, in Continuum shift we see Tsubaki's descend to madness as Hazama gets to her about how Noel took her spot as Jin's companion and turn into a bit more cold person, eventually she also gives in to her weapon Izayoi that consumes her, similar to how Vira has also issues regarding Chevalier and finally the fact that is also taken how Tsubaki sees Jin as an elderly brother figure despite not being blood related, using the same tone as Tsubaki calls Jin Nii-sama but with Katalina being Onee-sama (Vira has the same VA as Tsubaki btw, which with all this in line it's not just a coincidence). From Jin took how crazy she gets over Katalina, inspired mostly form Jin's crazy yandere outbursts on Ragna which both in lore has the situation that nobody ever glanced this side of them so they think they are pretty stoic and composed leaders and the fact that Jin also went up to the ranks very quickly after getting Yukianesa, similar to how Vira climbed the ranks super fast after earning Chevalier, finally the fact that for both Jin and Vira, Chevalier or Yukianesa were the main catalysts of them behaving completely deranged and uncontrolling of their impulses. Her weapon to unlock her from the gatcha is called Lyst Sin, which is also named after Lust Sin.
Saying that she is a psycho yandere is very far from the truth actually. Vira became like that when Katalina purposely lost the tournament that decided who would be Luminiera/Chevalier pactbearer, and Vira found herself tied to the island and her dear Katalina "left her" there. The impact that the pact took on her mind was horrible and all of the other facts caused her to became that "Psycho yandere". After Katalina and the crew got to Albion and a battle between Katalina and Vira ocurred, Vira started to respect Katalina's decisions and started to slowly regain her normal attitude. Her and Luminiera slowly started to understand each other and Vira also started to open herself to other members of the crew and to cherish the moments she had with Katalina more. I have skipped some parts of her story, but she had to face a lot of her inner demons. To sum up, she started has a crazy psycho, but she made an effort to improve herself for the person she loves(Katalina), her captain and her crew. In a way, her arc is very similar to Sandalphon's, and i really like both of them as you can see from the amount of text I have written 😂. It's not confirmed but I think that the weird faces she does are a side efect of her pact, because all of her expressions seem a bit off, specially when she is angry. Lastly, to answer your question, her theme is uplifting and majestic because it represents a very important moment on her personal development, when her relationship with Katalina became close again and her mental state became better. Uplifting because of her personal development and majestic because she is Albion's Lord Commander, now willing to protect those who she holds dear. Hope you liked muy "Vira essay" 😂
@@Sergio-pp9xy It's funny that both Vira and Sandalphon are Cygames' Golden Children, they also attract both Male and Female fans altogether, what I meant is that there are lots of female fans who love Vira and so does Male fans who love Sandy too, it's incredible XD

She is the prime commander of an millitary academy island, and also a vessel of light elemental primal. So being dignified while also harboring deep obsession with her idol katalina is her entire personality, although she is no longer as sadistic she used to be now.
Is it just me or did the music take a step back in budget recently? Not that the composition is bad or anything, but it seems like they moved to mostly MIDI instruments (violin aside) for Vira rather than live ones like the other characters.
@@kachosuffer7 i ve done music composing before using midi, in time you can hear the difference. mostly in how the reverb work etc. the best way to see it is to compare it to most of genshin impact ost. they done it live
Lowain: "Why do I here boss music dude?"
Vira:For no reason!!(pull out her sword)
Tommy and Elsam: “We’re screwed” 😨
“Is this in the script?”
Vira and Jin Kisaragi would get along juuust fine.
If Jin gets to close to Katarina and Vira to Ragna things may get a little crazy
Well more crazy than normal

Yeah, they budget for the DLC chars music wise really seems to be lower than the main game, which is a damn shame.
You’re right about the midi part. I definitely hear it on some of the higher beats.
