Yea, dude you kinda are. As a musician that has worked with a lot of great singers and understands music what sounds good, yes Mattâs voice doesnât fit linkin park well, but considering how messed up Mattâs vocals were at this time, he did alright. He didnât crack once and was able to hold the notes, was just a different style than Chester. Plus, Iâve seen you in like 3 other comments arguing with people that loves these 2 bands and enjoy the performance, and you have to give your opinion about you âthinkâ itâs not. To me, thatâs pretty much being a hater, and an annoying one at that. Find something else to do dude

The performance just didnât hit . His voice is not meant for them notes or that style of singing . Itâs okay because not everybodyâs got the same kind of voice . He just canât sing that way and make it sound good.
In a way this feels like a fitting conclusion to Linkin Parkâs career. For so long Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold were neck and neck in the battle of the best metal band of the 2000s so to play the last two songs of their career with Shadows feels almost like it was meant to be
Honestly, I feel like A7X was a better Metal Band. Not saying Linkin Park was bad, because they weren't in the slightest, but I just feel like Sevenfold was more true to it than LP was.

2023 m shadows has a pretty solid voice now. This is the era where he messed his vocal chords and got some sore if infection from blisters
2024 shadows would also murder this performance. he was just off a rough tour and a vocal tear in this.

Mad respect to M Shadow even tho his vocal chord got damaged during the stage tour he still got time to be on Chester Bennington's live tribute and sing 3 heaviest songs he could. Both are my favorite and my inspiration to sing like them, RIP Chester!

Im still here. In my opinion, instead pf arguing who's better between them, why not we just keep our mouth shut and enjoy the performance of probably two most legendary band in the history, perform in the same stage, same era. We still had a big real chances to keep watching them performing and support them as fans. What a great opportunity to live at this era and enjoy some fuckin awesome music, everywhere.

I've always loved this tribute to Chester. I have seen a lot of posts in the past (not so much on this post of the song) saying "Matt doesn't sound like Chester"..... And, no, he doesn't...the songs performed that night weren't supposed to be a "Let's sound like Chester" moment, it was a "Let us HONOR Chester" moment. So, THANK YOU, for posting this

The first night the concert aired for streaming, I could barely get through it because it was painful to hear other voices, other than Chester's...then I gave it time...and wow, I'm so glad I did!
Though he's not here with us anymore, but I know Chester is so proud of M.Shadows,and to all his fans and his band.
The power of Chester's voice is incredible, M. Shadows is singing with his own voice but in memory of Chester.
The meaning of the song Burn It Down tells about the songwriter who in his life always flatters, exalts, worships the people he loves (can be his girlfriend, can be his idol), but all these feelings disappear because the people he loves seem to disappoint him. He was finally angry, and burned (burn), all his struggles.
We don't need to compared Mattshadow and Chester because both they have unique voice
