8:24 a bit of nitpicking, the wine is "Prosecco" (small typo there)😁 Hahaha, apart from that, always tremendous videos, Max. Italo is a terrific competitor to Trenitalia and I think the AGV is quite a powerful beast, I love that it speeds up to 320 km/h on regular service. Hard to choose among them, honestly. I truly enjoy both🤩
Keep coming those good videos! Cheers

Roma Termini is a station I have spent a little time in. Of course never in lounges and things! Could only ever travel on the shortest of shoestrings 😊. But I do like the crowds and buzz in airports and train stations - reminds me that I am privileged to at least be traveling at all!!! 👍

I really love Italo. I've tried Frecciarossa trains in the past, but they are much more expensive compared to Italo. And even in the lowest class, it's very comfortable! And they usually make special offers and discounts, especially if you're young!

Recently traveled with Italo’s bullet train and noticed that the train by itself is quiet even at high speed of 250-300 Kmh, all the vibrations and noises you hear comes from the suitcases or other passengers belongings that are in the coach!
I just realized that by paying attention at the sources of noise during the trip.

Wow, looks a great product and service, thank you for sharing, very impressed. It’s interesting and I know it’s common in mainland Europe, but it’s very rare you make an “in/out” directional change midway in the UK at major stations. The only sad thing is as usual the amount of Graffiti which is always striking when travelling around the mainland of Europe.

Also the tasty at your seat meal service … granted haven’t been on it because of Covid but have plans to do so this summer. I think it’s waaay better than Italo. no I didn't travel on their Italo, but i did with Trenitalia several times. It was really cheap to travel by train in Italy. The first trip I did was from Florence to Pisa and Venice to Milan via Zürich to Dusseldorf,Germany. The train from Milan to Dortmund was operated by SBB and Trenitalia and in Basle the changed it the the Deutsche Bahn staff. It was a very long trip, but interesting passing through the swiss alps. I had the chance to travel on one of SBB's panoramic waggon.

I went on this exact same route in 2004, but my train. if I remember well, was red, green, and silver. It looked just like tho ones appearing in your video, but I remember the trip taking about 5 hours, stopping in Bologna and Firenze.
I had traveled by air from Valencia, Spain, and the flight arrived past 11 PM, so I found what I thought was the only restaurant open in Milan and spent the night at the restaurant, when I ate the most amazing gnochi of my entire life.
My train left at 5 AM, so I slept the entire trip, arriving in Rome around 10 AM. On the way back I was wide awake and enjoyed the views as well as a delicious meal (included in the price of the fare).
I always rather take trains than flying because I enjoy more and have freedom to walk around.

  • @bianca_1005

If you need to travel between Milan and Rome, the fast train is WAY faster than flying. You go from city centre to city centre, 3 hours in total, no long queues for security checks or trips to the airport.
Italo and, less often, Frecciarossa, have sometimes deals if you book in advance.
Edit: I especially like about Italo that there is always personnel at the doors to check passengers' reservations. So you don't get strange people sneaking in.

    • @bianca_1005

@@radovan107 right. From Linate you can just take an ATM bus (= city transportation) and be in the centre in less than half an hour. It's all the before and after the flight that takes away a lot of time compared to train travel.
