    The disc is glued onto the shaft. Can’t remove it to clean the top of it. That nice absorbent wood will trap moisture and gunk, leading to salmonella etc. use a food grade plastic and a retaining clip instead of the epoxy.

    Hey! I upgraded your version, I went to the nearest appliance store and bought a food processor for 10.99 and hey presto! A better, Cleaner, safer machine that won’t give me food poisoning from epoxy and old food. Yay!

    Decent food processors can be really really cheap. They'll get the job done in no time without wood fibers on the food.

    Sorry dude I like your vids but this is well...
    Those blades and fixings need to be stainless steel and definitely ditch the wood. High fiber food is good for you but I draw the line at chipboard!

    Hopefully someones mentioned this already but these already exist, use food grade stainless steal and you can pick one up for 20 bucks. Don't get me wrong this is great for non food items, if you live in a country where it's less of a hassle to make one than get a hold of one for 20 bucks but if you have the internet to watch this with, chances are you don't live in a place like that.

    While shooting you should mount the camera on a separate tripod or table other than the work bench...so as to avoid vibrations

    Like, food safety aside... using epoxy as a point of mechanical stress (aka where the thing mounts to the motor) is asking for all sorts of disaster.

    Carbon steel blades are not food grade .After a few wet slices those blades will rust

    how do you wash the blades? Oh now I see you have to get your tools out then wash the blades and the wood that could chip off into your food then attach it again I guess you didn't think of that

      MICHELLE FELTON Go to CZcams and Google support and feedback and request the ability to block channels. I did and was told not enough people requesting that as a feature. Tell everyone you know lets show Google and CZcams we want to be able to block channels!!

    or u can buy a premade (plastic molded) 20 bucks version that wont break down after 3 uses, and will be sanitairy, and cutting that cucumber took ages, 5/7 it just doesnt cut it imo

    This is just weird. First, those blades can't possible be food grade and the way is epoxied to the motor you can't even change them. Second, who wants splinters in their food from the food rubbing against that unsealed plywood. 3rd, as soft as a cucumber is, it's just hacked up. Put a carrot in that thing and it might explode. Shrapnel waiting to happen

    - das Geschnippsel ist gut für Federfieh geignet, meine Familie würde mich für so etwas aus der Küche verbannen. ( ist vieleicht nicht mal so schlecht für mich, ich werde es auch mal versuchen, vieleicht habe ich ja Glück mit der Küche und verbannen ) Ist ein guter Einfal für Camper. :-)
