This is my isolated guitar & bass cover of the song "Lost" by @LinkinPark . I have also included tabs on screen for those who need them. So if anyone wants to learn how to play this song on the guitar and/or bass, feel free to use this video as a starting point.

GEAR USED:
- PRS SE Custom 24, tuned to Drop B (low-to-high: B F# B E G# C#) - can also be played in Drop C (or even Drop C# if you "invert" the C chord in the choruses/main riff). Since there is currently no footage of Brad playing this song, we cannot tell for sure what tuning he actually used. From what I know, on "Meteora" Brad played in Drop C#, Drop B and A# Standard, so my guess is he used one of these three for this song, too. I personally opted for Drop B because it made it easier for me to play the octave chord at the end of the choruses/main riff. Moreover, there is another song on the album that can technically be played in Drop C ("Nobody's Listening"), but which Brad often played in Drop B during live shows.
- Schecter Stiletto Session 5, tuned to B Standard (low-to-high: B E A D G) - can also be played on a 4-string tuned to Drop C but for the same reason mentioned above, I went with the standard 5-string tuning.

I love the end harmonics. I was listening to the 2002 mix, and you can actually hear them quite a bit better there.
By "harmonics" do you mean the lead part that Brad plays during the end of the song? Yeah, that's really cool. I also like what Brad did on "Fighting Myself" as well.
@@mikeKidLazy Yeah, that's what I meant. Even their unreleased stuff is nice, their quality control is excellent in my opinion.
Yeah, except for the fact that the only audio version of "Lost" that was available when I did this cover had quite some distortion in it. Especially before the second part of the bridge when Chester sings "I'm lost", right before the rest of the instruments come in. Luckily though when I do "Fighting Myself" it'll sound much better.
@@mikeKidLazy Well, in all fairness the physical releases weren't available initially. Now you can order them or find them on trackers. Good luck on that cover, though!

Haha. This one reminds me more of In The End as far as the beat is concerned. However... Looks like they just put out another song from the upcoming Meteora 20th anniversary pack. JUST when I had finished with THIS cover. I can't keep it up like this, it's too much already 😂
@@mikeKidLazy Just finished listening to the new LP track. That verse where Shinoda was rapping reminds of “In The End.” Great track, by the way. Plus the title itself reminds me of you fighting yourself on trying to do another LP cover, lol. In the end, you did told us that you are not into this so called trend “The first to cover that latest song.” So yeah, no rush ayt 😉
What bugs me is that I find this particular song to be much better than Lost. I wish they had released this one before anything else. This one finally has that energy, that catchiness that Meteora had, which made it an amazing record. The song as a whole reminds me of Faint, but I don't even care about that anymore, it just bangs. Period. 🤘

Wait, the tuning of Lost by Linkin Park is it tuned on Drop C or Drop B?
I've explained everything on what tuning I've used and why in the notes I added in the video between 0:27-1:00. In theory you can play it in anything between Drop C# and Drop B, but we can only assume, since there's no actual footage of Brad playing this song. Hope it helps. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
