Y'all I remember plenty times Momma Dee saying she was bipolar. But I never took it seriously because I KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE BIPILAR DISORDER. She doesn't display any BIPILAR type ways no extreme mood swings or anything. So no I never believed it and really I still don't know if I do.
I don't believe her!😠. My brother IS bipolar and it's a very very serious and devastating illness, it's very hard on brother and my family. I don't appreciate this storyline.
If she's on the right meds and taking them consistently, you may not see symptoms. The disorder can also take shape in different ways based on the person. .
+Danielle Walden I guess. It's been really rough with mine. He's been very violent to the point of incarceration and hospitalization. Added to that, he also has substance abuse issues. I hope that if she really does have it that she's taking her meds. But to make it up for a storyline or a joke (Mama Dee and Ernest storylines always seem to be for laughs) is very cruel. I guess I'm just taking it too personal.
She doesn't act like ANY bipolar person that I know. And I know a few. And those times when they ask her if she hasn't been taking her meds she STILL don't act like a person who has bipolar illness.

She's actually made references herself being bipolar in the first season. There has been conversations where Scrap asked Mama Dee if she'd taken her medicine, during several particularly ridiculous moments. This isn't new.

I fell down the steps years ago, drunk in the snow trying to be cute. My tailbone hurt for about a month and when I finally got the nerve to go to the doctor, he said it was fractured. It still gets sore from time to time. I hope yours isn't that severe.
A lot of people don't remember this...but about 5 years ago...Mama D. admitted that she was bi-polar in an interview with Funky Dineva. If you dig through the archives of his old videos it should still be up. She even advised the others dealing with the disorder to make sure they take their meds. Hopefully FD still has it on his channel.

Girl.... I'll never forget it. I was young and my ex-husband and I had JUST had the carpets cleaned. We took a nap on the floor upstairs 'cause you don't walk around on wet carpet. I woke up and he was gone. I got up, took off running in my socks and hit that top step. My legs went up and my @ss hit that top step and slid ALL THE WAY down that staircase hitting every step on the way down. When I hit the bottom it was like an explosion. I fell on my tailbone while rollerblading with my dog. Right afterwards I had to visit a Buddhist temple and meditate and chant with them which required sitting for 3+ hours. Worst pain of my life! Either get one of those breastfeeding pillows to sit on or line up pillows in a triangle. It'll heal faster the more you avoid aggravating it!
