      @oartehaga Před 7 měsíci

      @@DanielHobson-yi7rh not my cup of tea. Size and Power matters, but I did athletics and value so much more other things from an athlete. My personal point of view is that if Noah was 1.95m tall as Usain he would have beaten by far those world records with his impeccable technique.
      Bolt was impressive, but he wasn’t stylish to me.
      Johnson used to run 150m in 200 dash, the last 50 he was literally jogging with such a class and superiority that I’ve seen nothing as impressive until today..
      Noah brings show and enchantment. He has the most loving personality I’ve seen until today. A naturally elegant high class individual. .. I love this guy.

      @DanielHobson-yi7rh Před 7 měsíci +3

      @@oartehaga I love Noah and his personality, etc. but Bolt is the GOAT and, if you think about it, most people his height wouldn’t have been able to break the world records because of his height (it’s normally more difficult to get a fast start when you’re taller). And Bolt’s personality was probably the best out there as well. I guess you do you but surely we can all appreciate greatness, in its different forms (Johnson, Bolt and Lyles)?

    • @oartehaga
      @oartehaga Před 7 měsíci

      @@DanielHobson-yi7rh I agree with you. I must also say that I have since early 2000s big concerns about Jamaica’s anti-doping mechanisms. Genuine concerns that would certainly explain to me’ why a guy of 1.95m can sporadically make faster starts that 1.70’s m tall professionals. Bolt is the only one in the planet that can doit. And the fact that his entire team and coaches were caught and eventually punished explains enough to me..
      I admit I can be deeply wrong though.

      @@oartehaga I mean he might’ve been doping but unless he goes and confesses, we’ll never know. And, mind you, the same could be said for both MJ and Noah Lyles. Everyone talking bout ain't no way Noah breaks either of Bolts records but with that kind of start anything is possible, he's already hit faster closing speeds than Bolt the only thing that was really lacking was his start and now its not, I said it before and I will say it again, I think either 24 or 25 is gonna be the year the 200m WR falls to the mad lad himself Noah Lyles. Now before you come for my throat I am well aware that this is a bold prediction to say the least, but I really believe Noah is him, he is that guy.

    Outdoors he should break 9.8 in the 100m maybe close to sub 9.7 in the right race, in the 200m he should break 19.3, whether he can break Bolt's record is unknown but we know he will give it his shot.

    60m 6.44 is about 9.74 potential for 100m in case of Lyles and no man including Lyles can sprint 200m all-out without float section, therefore 60m is poor calculator for 200m finishing time.

    If he is training like those that are SUB-x Club og 100, 200 and 400 that Wayde Van Niekerk started, and trains a periode now at altitude as well, he will keep his explosiveness with a start like this, and have the 200+ Endurance as well, so it would be intresting to see him run a 300 meter for some hints for the 200 meter finish. If he is strong, and his vo2 max get up to top right at Paris, then let me Guess:
    100 Meter Gold 9.74
    200 Meter Gold 19.17 WR!!!
    I am also critical to World Athletics Continental Tour about the dates of the meetings that dosen't match up with Diamond Leauge around the Olympicks, because the dates of olympics are Fri, Jul 26, 2024 - Sun, Aug 11, 2024, so London is right before and Lausanne right after, and it seens Okay at the surface, but the World Athletics Continental Tour dates is 9 Jul Budapest and the sould have a meeting in a safe warm sunny place right after the Olympics sprinters like Rabat, or opposite. The weather is the key for a WR, and we want hot tracks for records at short distanses, cold weather for long distances. So lets move Oslo Norway right into that periode for the longest distance record attempts and an extremely hot meet 40 celsius for the 200 WR attempt. I think there will be more World Records the comming years if they plan the meetings like that, so optimizing the meet schedule in IAAF would be a good idea for the future. This year it's not optimized at all as the meet before and after is a high risk meet for faul weather events and that may rob Noah Lyles the record from Usain Bolt, and Jakob Ingebrigtsen from taking the 1500 meter WR, for my taste Jakob at 1500 in Lausanne is better for a WR than Noah Lyles, Warholm, Rai Benjamin in London and Lausanne. I might be wrong, but it seems for me that this sceduele dosen't mach all branches perfect this year as it seems for breaking records. But Noah Lyles 200m WR, i give it 50 percent chance!

    Noah will break 9.70 this year if all goes well. The 9.83 he ran was into 0.0 wind. With the right conditions he'll be able to do it no problem.

    if he can perfect his start and till maintain his high end speed he may just be able to get bolts record but thats a big maybe but id say blakes time is in danger

    Mark my words, the unmatched, Black King, Noah Lyles will win the 60m and shatter the 100m world record. He's backed by the powerful synergy of his connection with his Jamaican queen. Watch as he transcends limits, making history with every stride, powered by love and passion.

    Usain did 6.31.....he has got a way to go yet before thinking about WR @ 200.

  • @MrSupplementScene
    @MrSupplementScene Před 7 měsíci

    Given speed stamina is his biggest strength this is massive. I doubt his top end speed is enough to break Bolt's 100m WR but the 200m WR I think he can go 19.10 and maybe 9.7 for the 100m. (I wrote this before seeing Total Running's predictions btw). He didn't start very well when he ran 9.83. I think he does the Olympic double.

    Letsile Tebogo is the quiet pack hunter that will prolly get the kill.
    Kerley has gotten way too big from what I can see. Dunno what he did but he looks huge out there.
    There is nothing to say about Bromell... maybe we will see him show up later in the season for once. :/
    And Coleman is kind of a wild card from where I sit.
    I'm not going to say anything about Kid Flash (Knighton)... I'm going to watch and see what brews in that camp.
    I understand the whispers about Blake, but he seems to fizzle a lot like Bromell. I could be off on that but that's what he looks like to me.
    So the show goes to Noah. I think he wants it more but none of these improvements happened until Kid Flash showed up. I'm just disappointed that the 200m showdown between them hasn't delivered like I had hoped. Kid Flash hasn't stepped up with a response yet and Noah just keeps going like a Super Saiyan hitting lvl2. I would be interested to know what "changes" Noah made to his start cause he seems to be running out of the blocks now vs stepping like he use to. That's an extremely hard thing to fix.

    These athletes are performing at an exceptional level, achieving feats that rank among the greatest in history, while many of us have never been the best at anything, even within the confines of our own cities. I would love to see the physical specimens that are overly critical of these world class athletes 😂
