Great video again Chris, any chance you can show how this all works in cold climates like the apes in winter. Will the gray water tank freeze? Also reply to Kevin below. Maybe its just freezes and that is why no reply for 9 months.

Hey Chris - what insulation (from cold / on road or off road debris / foreign object penetration etc) is available to protect the plastic water tanks? Is there any frost / water freeze protection available? eg ambient heater to keep water tanks fluid above freezing in cold weather or a water dump valve below 2 degrees C to offload tanks to protect pipework etc? Thanks Kevin P.S I would like to hire the demo Grand if possible when available as I'm Preston area based?

replace gas heater with diesel heater, add more litium batteries and solar panel, and single induction cook top. then its perfect camper

Hallo Chris. In the little manual of the Vw Grand they say you can empty the clean water tank completely or you can empty the tank and leave 2O l water in. How does it work ? Greetings from Belgium.

Was watching another video. The black screw valve on top of tank empties water to 20l. Can see valve when Chris has water tank access open

I'm not sure, sorry. I would recommend booking in with your local dealership for them to diagnose it.

I've got a grand California 600. As I fill it up the water is comming straight back out through a black rubber tube .near a clear piece of pipe .please advise me on how to stop this .Trevor.

Yes as I filled up the water tank the water just come out the bottom. It was to do with the heating valve .I hat to turn the blue valve and press in the blue button under the passenger seat. Thank you for asking .
