  • In this video I will show you how to properly change the oil in your E46 M3! There are many videos on how to do this but none of them are good quality and none of them take the time to show you step by step how to do it correctly! I make the extra effort with every maintenance item to make sure my car runs perfect for many years to come!
    I go above and beyond with maintenance on my car. A lot more videos to come as I prep the #E46 #M3 for insane road trips. Videos to come on that as well!
    I would like to give a special thank you to Guten Parts + Service for allowing me to film the process. I buy a lot of rare OEM and aftermarket parts from them including my Status Gruppe exhaust! Check out their website www.gutenparts.com
    Enjoy this video! Please like and comment with feedback so I know what you guys like and dislike about my content. It helps me create better videos for you all.

    Thanks for the short and detailed video! Great job. Couldn’t get my crush washers off the drain bolt or housing bolt so hopefully I won’t have any leaks lol.

      You’re welcome! Always put a new washer. If you can’t get it off then it might be just the bolt and the crush washer fell off. First time I changed my oil the bolt looked like it had a washer on it but it was actually just how the bolt looked. Put a washer on. It’s better to double up then to have none at all.

    Is that the correct oil? Isn't it supposed to be castrol edge? It says on the bottle for "m" models

    • @zkramez
      @zkramez  Před rokem

      As long as you use the proper weight oil, the brand you use does not matter. 10W 60 is the proper oil for the S54 engine.
