Oh I really wish you made cover stickers for the Hobonichi A6 😢
95% of the time jumbo stickers are so easy to put on, but every once in awhile I rush or get too confident & then it’s a nightmare. 😂😂

You are so brave!!!! I always leave the majority of the backing on junbos. Then I roll on a section at a time, smoothing as I go, just like you did.
hehe that is definitely the better way to go! :D
I usually only remove part of the backing to lay it down and then I use the Cricut scraper tool to push it along and smooth it as it goes. I go from top to bottom rather than side to side and it usually works.
When we do albums we just do part of the backing too! :) I swear it was because the camera was on 🤣🤣
I may be wrong, but I think the reason your cover felt big is because you got it for the HON version which is the hardcover hobonichi cousin. But it might be the move because you're right, they get CHUNKY.

This turned out so cute! I purchased all the things, except the alphabet. duh. lol I guess I will figure some other way to put my name on there. I also am going with the Avec this year, so I purchased double of everything. haha Although, Friday, I ended up ordering the Sterling Ink A5 compact vertical planner. I don't exactly remember the name of it. It is the one that is very similar to the Cousin. I think I am going to love the insides better than the Cousin, but that is because this year I don't want a page for every day. However, the cover is this gorgeous mist blue faux leather, so I am sure about putting the sticker cover on it. So many decisions! lol Yours is very cute!

We have the covers and tabs for A6 but not the overview. I definitely want to make the overview though! :)
