  • Learn how to eBay on this episode of Winters Kamp! As camping and hiking become more popular it is becoming more expensive as well! For beginners I recommend surplus gear to get started! The big 3 include a tent, sleeping bag and a backpack.

Really sorry about messing up your even 150 sub count, but I just had to add your channel to my list! Great video I too value the military surplus stuff when I can swing a few bucks. I will get caught up on your past videos and look forward to new ones. Peace, Bob

Woodslore Shady that’s about 9 hours north of me. Definitely not opposed to visiting that part of Michigan though!

Hey Nick, great video Thanks. I have the M.S.S. Sleep System also, it's great and I didn't have to pay a lot for it. Bought it a piece at a time and it's in like new condition. I've been trying to find a good deal on the ILBE, I'll keep looking. I'm surprised the Litefighter tent is 6 lbs. I thought it would be a lot lighter. I have the Eureka TCOP military tent and I think that ways about 7 lbs almost if you bring everything with you. I would like to get something lighter. Does the Litefighter compact down small? I was bummed out when my TCOP didn't quite fit in the deep pocket on the side of my CFP-90.

Jeff Richards I’ve tried several times to repack the Litefighter tent and it just will not pack down enough to fit in the side pocket. The LBT 1749B pack I used to have would fit in the side pocket though.

@@WintersKamp Yeah, I tried taking out the tent poles and stakes and tried to roll the tent and fly smaller to fit in that pocket and it was too tight.
