  • In this episode we are carefully taking the windshield and rear window chrome trim off. The content of this video is minimum as I've been working on upgrading the shop. Next we will take the hood off and taking parts a part to check the conditions.
    BMW E24 - 633CSI from 1978 Project:
I have some big plans for it. The car will be stripped all the way. Engine will be rebuild and improved where possible.
Still thinking about the Turbo setup but need to dig more into that for this engine.
    When it comes to the electrical system I'm planning on making it a "modern car";
    - Added parking sensors
    - Adding reverse camera
    - Adding heated and ventialtions seats system
    - Adding lumbar supports
    - Adding custom speakers system.
    - Upgrading the AC system
    - Different motor management system.
    - Possible digital screen for the instrument cluster etc.
The car will be a project when it's finished I will be enjoy driving it in the weekends and during road trips.

      Hi Small Town Exotics,
Maybe have a look at this video:
      czcams.com/video/vJ-F9ohMUZM/video.html
I have to admit I did not follow the manual.
In the manual it actually mentions to cut thru the rubber and remove the chrome trim that way.
From the manual (google manual for pictures)
"The rubber frame is cemented on the body and
      window glas,
The rubber frame has to be destroyed when
      replacing the windshield
      Detach windshield wiper arms.
Pull off left and right edge guards partially.
Lift out window beam trim at top and Pull out.
      Cut off rubber frame.
      Remove windshield glass and ornamental
      strips.
      Remove rest of rubber frame."
