- Comedian Michael Jr. did something incredible at the 8th annual Laugh for Life Gala on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Edmonton's Winspear Centre. He sold one of his $20 children's books for $4,000 to raise funds for The Mustard Seed and Candeo Housing Association during his comedic performance. Hello God! Thanks for being there in the lives of the people there and for the Mustard Seed and Candeo House ! I had the privilege of being in attendance that evening, I was humbled by God and His Amazing work in the lives and hearts of Man!

It's AMAZING what results can be delivered when people 'step up to the plate' and do good things for all the right reasons. Michael Jr. demonstrated this, and prompted by that 'inner voice', others stepped up to join him. My wife and I were volunteering at this particular event in Edmonton. While our roles did not provide us with an opportunity to sit in on the actual performance ... we certainly hear about Michael's good work. Well done, Michael Jr. Keep up the great work you are doing!
