The 2000 Canes were the most loaded team. A lot of the guys we talk about from the 2001 team (McGahee, Portis, Andre Johnson, Vilma, etc...) were underclassmen on a team that still had Reggie Wayne, Santana Moss, Dan Morgan, Al Blades, and James Jackson.
Except 2000 didn't have Sean Taylor, Antrel Rolle, Kellen Winslow II, Vernon Carey, Frank Gore.

We've got a decent amount of college level talent to have a very good season, if they each play up to their expected levels. If they exceed their levels, it could be a great season. Harbaugh built an OLine at Michigan with depth that was on another level. Built by NFL standards no joke . That was the difference in the win over Bama . The score was not indicative of the win … That OLine controlled the game .

2000-2001 Class! & give credit where credit is due with Butch Davis! We were denied a dynasty at the turn of the century because our greatest opponent was the NCAAF. But here’s another stat that may indicate the Canes will potentially finish the season ranked at least a Top 7th! I’m interested in Holistic Strength & Conditioning levels? Does 2-4-7 have such stats? eg…Collective Bench Pressing, Vo2, speed…etc.

Excellent show and spot on across the board. The Miami QB room is easily top 10 as well. The only real "weakness" in this roster is in the secondary but thats onky because its young and not yet proven, not because its necessarily lacking talent. Say what you want about Mario on gameday but there aren't 5 better Talent Acquisition experts in the country better than Mario. Fact!
Also....2001 team is not just the best Miami team ever. Its arguable that team was the most talented ever from top to bottom!
As long as everybody stays healthy and true starters play we will win a lot of games my personal opinion the only thing that can hold us back is Shannon Dawson's play calling
Don’t worry about Dawson’s play calling. Cam Ward is the type of talent that can turn bad calls and blown up plays into Big Plays.

The 2001 team might have had the most pro players BUT it wasn't even UM' best team. Check the rosters for the 1986 and 1988 teams. Stacked. I would place those 2 over 2001. I actually watched all of the teams I referenced. And for the record, on the field the '01 squad didn't score a TD against BC and barring the play by Rumph that led to Walters int and Reed house call, we could have lost that game (7-12 at that point). Beat VT by 2 points.
