This is early Tuesday morning (4:00 am) my dogs got me up. So I sat out on my back porch and it was full moon and was just beautiful! I had A quiet time with Our Lord! I thank Him for that special time! I thank him for putting special people in my path ! Thank you and Wanda for always being in my path! I pray for all and all who are lost - we are all Gods children and hope all will see the goodness and how much our lord loves us and He is giving us a choice in life! Good morning Danny! I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your channel and your porch time. You are right on the money! A few weeks ago you had a porch time where you mentioned going to church in overalls. I especially enjoyed that video. We are looking for a new church and I one of the things I want is to have the preacher come in regular clothes not a suit. That way anybody who walks through the door will feel welcome. After all Jesus never told people to go on home and dress up before he did The sermon on the Mount. Thank you for shining the light ensuring Jesus with people on your channel😊

I saw the same as you about Danny’s eyes looking tired. It honestly bothered me, in the way of being concerned for him.

The heat can be so draining, making one feel so tired....that happens to me here in south central Texas, especially outside in August. 🔥 🌞

The heat has me really tired.
I used shade cloth over my garden plants during the hottest part of the day about 4 hours, they were struggling before I started the shade cloth, they are thriving, and this is the best year I have ever had-and the first year I have ever used shade cloth.

@kookietherapy9398 me too! All sleep matters! Danny is up before the Sun working with a flashlight and I'm out working with a flashlight after the Sun sets. Don't let anyone shame you for it. My dad teased me about being lazy because I slept in in the morning. He would work 8-10 hours a day. I labor about 12-14. But I'm the lazy one. I love learning from our elder community fathers. But gosh darn it, if you don't do it their way, well, you're just plain wrong@😅😂😊

I had shoulder surgery on the 22nd and still healing so James has to do all the work bless his heart ..his shirts are soaked with sweat trying to get our soil ready and raised beds and he's doing compost. We need prayers .God bless yall and praying for yall as well. Thanks for all yall do ♥️

Danny I just did 2 weeks of halter monitor also. My husband didn't want me to mow. I told him they want to see a regular day of activity which includes pushing a walk behind mower. Best of luck. We watch your videos from Indiana. Love the porch time ones. Relaxing to listen to while I work.

They're giving 49 degrees for tonight here in SE Kentucky. I'm in a holler so I'm usually a few degrees cooler than town is. I'm so dreading the cold winter, I'm not ready mentally for it at all. I hate being cold!!
My experience is that it’s easier to warm up when it’s cold than to cool off when it’s hot. I grew up in Minnesota and we had two seasons: Winter Is Coming, and Winter.
Good morning and thanks for the discussion/pep talk. We definitely need to be a light to others. I hear you on the light pollution. I can't look up and see the vast array of stars like I could when I was a kid. It's worse on cloudy winter nights with light reflecting off of both the clouds and snow.

Mornin DSH Danny and Wanda 🖐🏻. Another great Porch Time Danny. I agree with you. I am grateful to be able to help with what I can. Our Heavenly Father put me here in South Eastern Georgia to help take care of my Cousin David, he was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer in his Spine, Hip Bone, Kidney, Lung And Adrenal Gland. He has his faith and has excepted his diagnosis. It has been rough, couple hospital stays and lots of medications. He is home and we are taking one day at a time. Prayers are appreciated. Thank You. We live in Oregon and we had a frost every month this year, and not just a little frost, multiple days of hard frosts. This year we took a sabath year for our garden, but next year I don't even plan to try to grow warm weather crops outside of the greenhouses.

Danny growing up it was dark now we got street lights everywhere it's mostly city people want them. Of course they out number us country folks and out voted us on putting them up.
I hate the light pollution. As a kid we used to get a telescope now there is so much light you cannot see nothing.
I hate all the light cause my daughter will never get to see it in her own back yard.
It's sad.

PNW/IDAHO... We are in cool down. Early fall with help from Russian volcano going off last week.Thunderstorms are starting too! We need rain badly. No pests until 2 weeks ago... flea beatles and yellow jackets showed up.
Getting raised beds planted for fall and winter covers ready... we had 48 for a low lastnight... iim thinking early winter coming
Im tired but i wont stop either Danny. Everything we get done, prep for is one day less of worry. I can rest when God calls me home.

We so love our artificial lights (both physical and spiritual at times). My son has had night terrors since birth and I remind him each time that the Bible says we are sage in the shadow of the Lord's wings. I remind him that shadows are darkness and not light and that wings are simply the bird's equivalent of arms. So when it is dark, no matter how dark, remember that that darkness is His shadow that you see as His arms are wrapping around you for a hug

Good Morning Danny and Ms Wanda. We're having lows here that I never have seen before in August. We're supposed to be down to 49 tonight. Gradually it's going back to the 50's and 60's this week. Daytime heat is going to be in the 70's. Then back to the 80's. Usually August is our hottest month. Don't know what caused this dip except God. Hope you all have a blessed week. We were cloudy last night so we missed the moon too. It seems like it's cloudy or rainy lol.
Amen Danny! We had a light pole on our property when we first moved out here. The light burned out during our first year. The electric company asked us if we wanted it replaced and we declined. We have neighbors across the street and neighbors to the side of us, none of us have light poles working and we like it that way. I love being able to see the stars on a clear night, Yah’s handiwork and it’s beautiful!
Us fair skinned people have to be careful about sun exposure. I have a skin cancer on my face that they will be removing soon. I just had the biopsy done, but I already knew what it was. I have my father’s skin type, and he’s had several removed.
We can let our light shine and some will hate us for it, but Yah said remember that they hated me first. But if our light touches only a few, and they shine a light, then we can start a network of candle lights.

If we don’t have lights here in the burbs, we would get robbed in a heart beat, over and over again.
I live 20 miles away from the nearest city/town according to the census in 2000 the population was just over 42 thousand and now in 2024 the population is just over 31 thousand and at night I can see from my hill that indeed the reflected light of the night sky has diminished. I also keep my place dark as possible at night, just a pair of lights on either side of the front door. It is amazing when I go out at night on my back deck and my eyes adjust to the darkness I can actually see spirals in the Milky Way galaxy and like magic more and more stars become visible so many in fact that you begin to get the visual sense of a 3 dimensional view of the galaxy. I often watch Orien the hunter ready to throw his spear at the head of the bull which is the Taurus constellation.
Please try to get some rest Take care of yourself for awhile so you can re-energize for a little while There will always be work that will be here waiting for you. God bless you Danny and Wanda !
