Hi can I do this basically but with a CAS4? but i'm not replacing anything. Situation is the Cas module lost coding as someone tried adding a key via obd with an 'Xtool'. I don't know if its just the coding lost or if the eeprom/flash is corrupted. Now on Immo status scan, error is 'CAS no coding stored'. also when I check vehicle frequency, it says 'Unknown Frequency'. I already have the DME ISN..and pretty sure its a 315mhz. However, what if the eeprom/flash is corrupted and not just a lost coding? If its just a coding, how do i recover that if there's no backup. Ask the first guy and he doesn't know if he even backed up anything.
