I had a fake iphone in middle school my dad got it for me. It looked kind of similar but it was complete garbage tbh. I thought I was so cool but I was so afraid to show it to people other than just flashing it to them cuz I didn't want them to find out it was fake. I was so paranoid about someone finding out then the screen broke the first day I had it. I got an android instead and I was so relieved because nobody found out it was fake and I told everyone I had an iphone for one day and it broke so I got cheaper phone instead. I have never told this story to anyone until now.

***** I have used Apple and Android and I can confirm Android was better in every single fucking area, from call quality, screen SIZE (apple screen was about the same colour wise but had a lower res), way more apps on android and more free and the android phone I was using cost £140 whereas the iphone costs £140000 which is quite unbelievable. Sure, you can get better android phones but even the cheapest was far more functional. Compared with a Nexus 5/6 the iphone would get shat then violated several times. The only thing the iPhone did better was the actual gaming performance, but the Moto G is a low end android phone so that's not a comparison of the OS but rather the bits in the cheap phone as I said above.
Kyro You sure you've used an iPhone 6? Last I checked the iPhone 6 was neck-and-neck with the Note 10.1 in terms of raw performance? Probably because iOS and the hardware were designed in tandem so the software does a hell of a lot more per clock cycle than Android, where the chipsets and software designers are often different companies. And I also recall the whole bending thing being a media circus which isn't actually an issue. Now, before you say anything, I fully expect the new Samsung phones to kick the 6's ass in terms of raw performance. That's what new technology is supposed to do, which is to be better than its predecessors. The iPhone 6 is better than its predecessors, and is currently among the fastest phones, if not THE fastest phone, on the market. Look at the benchmarks for proof. And regarding apps... Yes, there are more apps on the Google Play Store, but one of things that Apple users don't have to worry about nearly as much as Android users is fragmentation, or the reality that their phone is out of date and no longer supported by the manufacturer anywhere from around a year to mere months after its release. Only now, after 2 years, does my iPhone 5 appear to start showing its age, and it's still fully supported by Apple in terms of software and hardware. Many Android phones, on the other hand, can't run the latest version of Android because their manufacturers are too focused on their newest phones or are too damn lazy to port Android to these older devices. The same goes for apps. Because of the sheer variation of specs for Android phones, God help the developer who wants to optimize their app for as wide a range of devices as possible. App selection is excellent, but limited to what Apple will allow you to sell. The "walled-garden" approach, while much more secure than Android, limits its functionality in several key areas. And the sheer number of variations in Android devices allow for many different implementations, GUIs, and overall customization. One is NOT better than the other; it's all about personal preference. Personally, I prefer iOS, but Android has its fair share of plusses as well. I find that both complement each other beautifully, with one offering reliability and security, and the other offering flexibility and easy modification.

I got an android instead and I was so relieved because nobody found out it was fake and I told everyone I had an iphone for one day and it broke so I got cheaper phone instead. ***** I have used Apple and Android and I can confirm Android was better in every single fucking area, from call quality, screen SIZE (apple screen was about the same colour wise but had a lower res), way more apps on android and more free and the android phone I was using cost £140 whereas the iphone costs £140000 which is quite unbelievable. Sure, you can get better android phones but even the cheapest was far more functional. Compared with a Nexus 5/6 the iphone would get shat then violated several times. The only thing the iPhone did better was the actual gaming performance, but the Moto G is a low end android phone so that's not a comparison of the OS but rather the bits in the cheap phone as I said above.
Kyro You sure you've used an iPhone 6? Last I checked the iPhone 6 was neck-and-neck with the Note 10.1 in terms of raw performance? Probably because iOS and the hardware were designed in tandem so the software does a hell of a lot more per clock cycle than Android, where the chipsets and software designers are often different companies. And I also recall the whole bending thing being a media circus which isn't actually an issue.
Now, before you say anything, I fully expect the new Samsung phones to kick the 6's ass in terms of raw performance. That's what new technology is supposed to do, which is to be better than its predecessors. The iPhone 6 is better than its predecessors, and is currently among the fastest phones, if not THE fastest phone, on the market. Look at the benchmarks for proof.
And regarding apps... Yes, there are more apps on the Google Play Store, but one of things that Apple users don't have to worry about nearly as much as Android users is fragmentation, or the reality that their phone is out of date and no longer supported by the manufacturer anywhere from around a year to mere months after its release. Only now, after 2 years, does my iPhone 5 appear to start showing its age, and it's still fully supported by Apple in terms of software and hardware. Many Android phones, on the other hand, can't run the latest version of Android because their manufacturers are too focused on their newest phones or are too damn lazy to port Android to these older devices. The same goes for apps. Because of the sheer variation of specs for Android phones, God help the developer who wants to optimize their app for as wide a range of devices as possible.
Android is not the perfect being you think it i; iOS tops Android in many ways. Then again, iOS is obviously not perfect either. App selection is excellent, but limited to what Apple will allow you to sell. The "walled-garden" approach, while much more secure than Android, limits its functionality in several key areas. And the sheer number of variations in Android devices allow for many different implementations, GUIs, and overall customization. One is NOT better than the other; it's all about personal preference.
Personally, I prefer iOS, but Android has its fair share of plusses as well. I find that both complement each other beautifully, with one offering reliability and security, and the other offering flexibility and easy modification.
