Love the ideas. I get my 6 yr. old granddaughter to help me put together kits with hair bows, ponytail bands, lip gloss, nail clippers, and earrings or bracelets that I make. This helps me show her how much better it is to give than to receive. She loves helping and we talk about things while we are packing. God bless you!
That’s so sweet! Thanks for sharing ❤️
Nice job Nicole!
Very smart to put these together in advance. It’s hard to remember to put all the necessities in there! I try on the off season to do this too but since I’m a solo packer and finished last year with over 130 boxes, it’s challenging to get them all done. Then sorting by age takes a little extra time 🤣. This is a very helpful video Nicole and soliciting help from friends and family is a great idea ! TFS!
Thanks Jeannie! Yes, sorting takes so long, especially when you’re actively shopping at the same time 😆
Continue 😊🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for sharing your process! Enjoy your videos.💕
You’re welcome and thanks for watching!
Such a good idea ❤
You do all this by yourself? How many legos did you fit in the boxes?? I am doing the same thing as well for some of our boxes. Also how many boxes do you do????
Haha, Yes I do this by myself. I’ve got 30 boxes planned for this year.
I find that one poly bag of LEGO (or 4 of the advent calendar sets) can fit in those snack containers from dollar tree, or into the small burlap bags from Amazon. For bigger sets or multiple sets I’ve used the bigger gifts pouches from Amazon as well. 😊
Hola!
What are the sizes and number of each size bandaid in your bags?
Each bag has about 6 bandaids in them. A couple of regular sized bandaids, some mini versions, and a small patch style bandaid. (Unfortunately I’ve already tossed the boxes so I can’t tell you the exact sizes). I have several different sizes as it was less expensive to buy the multi packs compared to the single-sized ones.
They go through all those so called shoe boxes and half if not more of the items are taken out
Only the items deemed not appropriate by customs (liquids, candy, seeds) or are broken or clearly have been previously used are taken out. Everything displayed here follow the guidelines given by OCC. If anything is taken out, the processing clerk will attempt to refill the space with a new item that’s been donated as filler, and OCC will review the removed items to see if they’re appropriate for re-donating to a local charity. ❤️
I don’t understand what you mean? Why would permitted items be taken out?
