Playing Pizzascape as the brutal Doise (Full course)

Doise mode in the Full course is esentially a hard mode take on the Noise. If he gets hit once Pedittio will chase you and when he catches you, thats it your dun dead. You can suppertaunt while he is on screen to ward him off until the next time you get hit. Also Doise with his Transformations will have unique properties and maybe he will have completely new moves with the transformations (Hint). Also as for Doises regular moves his Crusher dive explodes when it lands and when his superjump hits a ceiling it will come crashing back down.

Ignore the Noise bomb collectaables, they were left in and wasn't taken out as of recording. He will not collect Noise bombs as toppins.

I love the idea that Doise's regular Noise-oriented moveset kinda goes differently because they just... go wrong, like his super-jump going into a crash down to the ground, or his crusher exploding when it lands, it really emphasizes the idea of ''Noise, but gone kinda wrong.''

In the P rank screen, instead of falling, it should be Peddito grabbing The Doise and throwing him to trash or something
I KNEW DOISE'S KNIGHT TRANSFO WOULD REMOVE THE TRANSFORMATION IF YOU BUMPED INTO A WALL
So the Knight transformation works the same as the Sage 2019 transformation

And Doise's taunts are unique, and i love that his knight transformation breaks if he hits the wall and mostly the idea that Peddito will catch him if he gets one hit from an enemy.

i remember commenting one one of the doises songs about how he should function similarly to tainted lost
this is a perfect duality in my mind because while u cant get hit once, you have the opportunity to still ward off peddito, thank you guys so much for doing this for doise

@@mysticmemer4887 tainted lost cannot get/find holy mantle. He gets holy cards instead, a one use holy mantle that persists between rooms

As well as passive ability to remove useless items (hp ups that give no stat boosts and stuff that gives flight)
@@dababy5641 tainted lost can get a holy mantle, but only when using spindown or death certificate or it gets automatically rerolled

i love this a lot but i just feel like doise's regular moves aren't altered enough
i LOVE the knight breaking if u hit a wall, i LOVE the mechanic of peddito coming if u lose a combo, and all the flavor stuff like his taunt sound being the main melody from impasta syndrome, and even his taunts themselves, etc, but i feel like his base kit needs to be a bit different than Noise, something more 'hard to play, but stronger if played right' to play into the hard mode vibes, maybe make his crusher jump explosion send him flying far so you can use it to boost yourself? or maybe something to do with being able to throw rocks and use their explosions to boost yourself too, idk, i just feel like he needs a little more difference in his playstyle than just 'noise with slight differences' because it doesn't really feel like noise hard mode, yk?? like the mechanics SURROUNDING him feel fitting, like the transformations and combo mechanics, they fit perfectly with Noise hard mode, but his moves themselves are too similar i feel
I dunno, his play-style being ''Noise with Slight differences'' is already way too fitting for a character who's entire purpose is being a Noise re-color, and i'd argue that his regular Noise moveset already allows for plenty of opportunities to actually get hit and straight up die if you're not careful, but then again, it wouldn't be a proper hard mode if all the player had to do was put a little more brain-power into their gameplay and considering how Doise actually does have his own Tutorial theme, then it does seem like he'll have different moves than Noise.
@@LucasMiddleNameandLastname22Doise should, in comparison to the Noise, play how the noise plays in comparison to peppino. The Italian man himself is more focused on horizontal movement, having to have a clear runway to super jump, and noise is more focused on upward movement with their crusher fly and wall bounces. Therefore, doise should be focused on downward movement, which they kinda already are with their super jump going wrong. Their wall bounce shouldn't give as much vertical movement, but shouldn't get worse when used consecutively, at least not on the same wall, so less of a bounce and more of a proper wall jump
This is way to work put in for just noise recolour. Love the dedication tho!

You know, I had an idea, what if we update the abilities that Doise has so that they have a new feel, but make the abilities much more difficult to control, etc. If we imagine Doyz as a more complex campaign of Noyz, this idea makes perfect sense.
So just make the character insanely annoying and cluncky to control just to be different? Nice idea.

Edit: Or, the screen shown for when the Doise gets caught by Peddito was randomly chosen from multiple "caught on the ground by Peddito" screens, and other screens include a coffin with flowers on it (Ground Game Over), the Doise doing the Yamcha death pose (Ground Game Over), the Doise with wings and a halo (Mid-air Game Over), or the Doise... when I gently open the door. (Mid-air Game Over)

2 questions about brutal doise for Full Course (and I guess Final Round now)
1. Does the explosion from the crusher jump kill the stupid rats, or is it only for normal enemies at Doise's inconvenience?
2. Is Doise gonna be a single costume for Noise that applies these changes, or does he have his own character slot with alternate costumes too? And if so, what will happen to Noise's Doise costume?

1. Doise cannot kill the rats but he does kill enemies so think of it like the crusher ground slam has more attack range but after you land you are put into a tumble state that could slow you down, don't try this in Gnome forest secret 1.
2. Doise will have his own slot in the roaster and comes equipped with unique outfits, some of which have been teased to some degree.
@@BongoCrab thanks for answering my questions. I really hope he has a green costume. Was kinda disappointed that Noise's only "green" costumes were second color only.
