I’m a construction foreman in Lancaster PA and I introduced this tool to my supervisor. Thankfully he bought it! Izzy is not exaggerating here. It’s a game changer.
Thank you for commenting Paul!
I wasn't aware you know Jörg Sprave! A true legend on CZcams, like yourself
a-HAHAHAHA
Lol "let me show you it's features"
Love "The slingshot channel!"
At this point the third generation of grabo should be called the “Izzy”
Because of you, my dad bought me one of these due to my business, throwing a bunch of sheet goods around. He thought it would definitely help. He got the idea from you brother. And it has been a lifesaver in the shop. I actually only two of them now, it’s amazing what possibilities open up when you have two of these.
I think you already know this, but you are definitely my biggest inspiration when it comes to inventing and prototyping 👍👍👊👊
You are killing it brother keep up the great work!
@Joncao Bahloopah
@@izzyswan thank you so much man! You as well
He is gone now/ lol gotta love the ban button. lol
I’m so happy mom om m ok😊😊

I love that they are open to collaboration with others. Too many companies lock down the ecosystem so they get all the profit. Effectively crowd-sourcing accessories is a genius business move.
I really wish I could justify buying one. I had a stubborn tail light assembly that could have used some grabo action this weekend!
We encourage people to work with us! We make our tool modular for other applications.
I work in metal fabrication. last year my company bought a vacuum grabbing device that is sort of similar to the Grabbo, only its about 4 feet wide and 10 feet long with 8 suction cups. it is capable of picking up 20' x 6' plates of 1/4" thick steel using our gantry cranes!
The Grabo would be great for fixing LVP flooring that becomes separated. Attach the Grabo to the flooring panel and tap the back of the Grabo with a rubber mallet.
Or if you used a bar clamp between them and you could pull things together.
Super stoked to see where this goes. I'm with you, we're gonna see Grabo everywhere soon!
General contractor in North California. Grabo just showed up on my job site last week!
I just got my first Garbo! I love it! I have always struggled with sheet goods and even sheets of Sheetrock! This IS a game changer ! I first learned about the Grabo from this channel and I always look forward to watching new videos from you two because I know I can trust what you are talking about is top notch!! Thank you so much and keep 'em coming!!!
Never heard about this, but wow. This is really cool tool. That Cabinet installation jig was just crazy.
So this is an adaptation of the glass handling suction cups that had to be manually pumped up? I bought a set back in the 80's and still have 'em.
Wow, that is really cool. Im going to need to get one of those and check it out myself! Thanks for highlighting this. im sure it will be a game changer in my small shop!
Lot of uses, but the cabinet installation plate... ❤. My life has moved on from cabinet installs, but that would've been SO sweet.
Where was that cabinet installation tool 30 years ago. That’s a game changer for installers
Thanks for doing what you do, and sharing your knowlege and designs!
Got to try one here in Ontario Canada.
It's a game changer now I just need to convince my boss it's worth it for our garage door company.
WOWSER! 😲I hadn't seen any of your previous vids with this product. Totally agree with your prediction - this is genius exponential! So many times I've thought of ways to make difficult tasks more doable, and the many ways people are creating answer a lot of the challenges we encounter. THANK YOU so much for this overview of the many applications for this fantastic tool. 🤠
Good to see your enthusiasm. Thank you.
Love my Grabo's. We install cast stone fireplace mantels, and occasionally use them, they are fantastic !
I have always enjoyed watching you and your enthusiasm Izzy. Thanks for being an inspiration.
Don't forget Maggie !
Izzy your fantastic.Your creations/once tions are truly amazing !
wow izzy great overview again. I picked up a grabo original on a sale on woot that happened around the time I saw one of your early videos. Used it for an automotive application (holding sheet metal while I jigsawed portholes for a van build. Also used it to put IN those windows.
I haven't really used it since but it helped a lot and the pro version really is the way to go. hope to find something I can use often with it to make shop workflows fun and simplified.
I bought a Grabbo from you with accessories and still love it! I may have been one of your first orders. Fun!
Marine applications… in boatbuilding, there are few flat surfaces. Having a more moldable attachment base would be huge. Is that the basis of their automotive product? Exciting stuff.
YES TO THIS!
Very cool device and accessories!
Such a cool tool.
Awesome and inspiring
I've never heard of this but it's friggin awesome I'm definitely gonna get one or two ASAP
Bought this thinking I might need it in the future way back because I saw ur video, fast forward I ended up using it a lot! Thanks a lot!
Great to hear!
For anyone who has one make sure you store it properly on a flat surface… because when you need it in a rush and it cannot work because the seal dosent seal you will be mad :-) It can be easily repair by leaving it on a flat surface fora while but it takes a bit of time. ENjoy Grabo everyone.
WOW! Why am I just now seeing this? In fact, this is the second video I've seen on this product. Dang it, I need to order one, or ten.
Excellent video. Well done
thank you Izzy and Maggie
God Bless Izzy and Maggie
I love your subtle joke Izzy, grabo can help lift really heavy sheet. Priceless.
So great to see you and Maggie in your video, and I know you will continue to be a mentor to many woodworkers, an even more successful entrepreneur, and a great husband when you and Maggie get married. Much success to you my friend, and thanks for all of your contributions to the amateur, semi-pro and professional woodworkers who always learn new ways to accomplish their tasks earlier with your help.
What a great video and how clever you both are!

Yankee ingenuity at it's finest!
These are the coolest!
Back in the early 80s, I used a very, very similar item in the mobile home industry for moving sheets of floor decking. It hooked up the compressed air system. Apparently, the same idea is just different. If memory serves me right, it was an approximate 15" disc which handled 14' x 8' custom sized panels.
I thought back then! Wow, if there was a way to make one to use as it is nowadays.
Keep up the great work.
The Grabo is a really cool product - definitely a game changer for job sites. If I was having to move large panels or heavier items on a regular basis, I would get one. I love that vacuum drill - that's insane!
Yeah, that's the one thing I may find room in my shop for. The Grabo, well, I don't move many sheet goods like that. Plus having two boys at home makes that chore easier lol.
@@toysoldier46552 Having kids around definitely helps! :)
Disponibles en México? O envíos a México y Cuando?
Awesome, Izzy! 😃
I hope they get here to Brazil as well! It could help a ton!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Hey man. Just wanted to say thank you for all you r comments and feed back. You are always so positive and comment on every video. Maggie and I both enjoy seeing your comments in the comment section. Thank you Again.
I need the Grabo Vacuum Drill Press. Has it gone into production yet. This would help me to drill straight holes threw the hulls of Boats with Fiberglass, Plastic, Wooden and Aluminum hulls.
In production now, hopefully it will hit shelves later this year. :)
Hey izzy, good to see some cutting board grabo templates back up on your store. Are you going to be offering more of these in the future? Would love the horse head and the big bass!
I've seen the Nemo Vacuum Drill Press and I like yours better. I would work great on the Boat I'm working on. Can you help me out with your version of the Vacuum Drill press?
Amazing!
Damn. I need that tool
I’m currently working on drilling multiple holes in a long, wide board that would benefit from having something similar to your prototype for the drill press on a Grabo. I don’t want to be putting 80 pounds of force on something that is fine furniture, but the drill press can be nearly prohibitive since it’s capacity can be easily exceeded by what I’m doing. Consider making perfect holes in a 4x8 sheet of (furniture grade) plywood. The drill press would be perfect for what I’m doing.
Another would be to develop a track saw system for the Grabo.
hope that you revisit it soon!!!!!
I would like to know if Garbo would work as a vacuum chuck for lathe Turing used with your adapter plate? How long is battery life? Would it be strong enough?
So very cool would love to have one of those someday
It'd be great for holding down a small portable CNC for engraving on a large piece of flat material, like sheet goods or a table.
I need to figure out how this can assist me when hanging crown moulding or facia. This would also come in really handy in an Auto Body shop for removing and installing hoods, truck beds, rear lift gates, doors etc., as well as using this to straighten a frame. If it can hold that much? Or, mini Grabo's for dent pulling.
Hello Izzy ! How would this work paired up with your vaccum pump attachment, to hold materials down for a CNC router? Or even machining aluminum in a CNC Machining center?
As my high school teacher once said “Nothing sucks in science”.
Is the landscaper rock cart available? I don't see it in your store. I need one asap!
Ryobi made a vacuum laser tool and I don't have ryobi tools but this tool is fantastic .
Very interesting product and thanks for the great video.
Have you heard of failures where you are carrying something and it fails?
How long does the battery last.
How often do you replace seals?
The battery lasts about 90 minute of continues run time. as for the seals replacement is need when the seal wears out that time changes depending on the material the Grabo is being used on. we have seals that are 2 years old that are in really good shape but we use them on plastic and sheet goods. We have replace a couple seal that were being used on stone and rock because the surface is much rougher.
whens the grabo boots coming out so i can walk up buildings?thats going to be awesome
Izzy, how about a dent puller for auto body work?
Art from Ohio
The only thing against the GRABO I could think of (and I love it, by the way) was what happens when one forgets to charge a battery or two and goes on a coast to coast trek with it on the car roof as a makeshift roof rack holder?
I bought one with the vacuum attachment, and loved it, then my wife bothered me to get another one about 1 year later, I bought a pro model, the handle is way better, because it's smaller and you can grab it better for heavy lifting, so now the pro is hers!!!! But I would be interested for the Jig to install a drill, like a mag drill!
What about an adapter to turn the Grabo into a competitor to the Festool Vacuum clamp
I designed one a couple years ago but shelved it to work on products that have a larger reach. Will revisit that product in the near future
@@izzyswan thanks for reply. Always nice when creators take time to engage with their fans/subscribers
Saw the grabo on a job site you-tuber RB Building.
Is grabo good for drywall
Could be useful in auto body work by placing them on either side of a dent, and possibly one on the dent itself, and pull it up with screw drive.
Hmmm.. come to think of it, there's a hand version of this in the autobody industry anyway.
So how much can you pick up with one of them?
A collapsable grid of toggle push clamps suspended on small grab modeles to press sheet panel glue-ups.
I still can’t find your dolly attachment for the grabo.. can I custom order one fl you?
Very cool.
Pulling refrigerators or appliances out of cubby hole areas!
I don’t see any of your router templates in the store, are they not available any longer?
Very innovative ideas you guys are bringing to the woodworking industry and beyond. Guys, I love it! Thank You.
Thank you very much!
need a vac plate when will they be available?
Saw Kyle Stumpenhorst from Rural Renovators (R&R Builders on YT) using one. For those that don't know Kyle he built Jimmy Diresta's huge shop in NY.
I've looked into these, but for a home shop? It's a 100% no go for me, just can't justify that $200+ price tag for something I'll very rarely use in my shop. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool thing, and a great evolution of the old piston powered manual suction cup.
The vacuum grabo drill thing should have an input for 120v, or 220v depending on the region, just for the fact that the battery will die quickly on a jobsite... good invention though!
Are you able to ship to canada?
When will this company go public. Interested in investing in it
Great product! Now if it could just make me stronger...
1.3K likes in a few hours. Man, you rock. All the best to you both in your………retirement? 🌞
I really want one of these but I would like that vacuum plate to be able to add the hose to be able to extend the reach
Also I think you are onto something here as Festool recently discontinued their vac Sys system so if there was a way to invert and easily attach to a work bench…. Again I really want a grabo, maybe I will just have to make my own mount 😊
I am a garage gadget guy, but I"m picky with the things I spend that hard earned money on. Grabo is one that I just couldn't resist. I use mine all the time...probably on things I don't really need to use it on, but it's fun.
Cool
I assume that the grabo "festool like" vacuum clamping pump is not going to happen?
Would this be a practical option, if one were setting up a vacuum bag system?
Would it be cost effective?
Thanks! - Dave
The possibilities are endless, especially with a brilliant mind like yours !
maybe you could help. trying to make carpenter bee traps using drill press instead of drilling by hand. tried drilling verticle 3/4" holes with drill press and had to crank table up into hole to get depth. made 45 deg. jig to drill 1/2" holes on all 4 sides and that did not work out for me either. could you help ?
Please tell me you’re going to sell the landscape rock cart?!?! This would be amazing for picking up and moving the 75+ lb flagstones we’re building a walkway with.
We are planning on it. Hopefully early next year
Did the company you mentioned ever start selling the Vacuum plate?
where I can get the rock cart??
Did I see a grabo luggage rack?! Now that one I’m not so sure about lol
Damn I gotta have one for my shop for handling sheet goods I’m by myself 73 kinda hard to carry like I used to ya know
Anybody working on a bench top holder for the Grabo to act as a work piece hold down system like Festool has? Would be a whole lot less expensive!
I loved mine! That was until the suction force broke a window I was installing and now I'm afraid to use it.
They should make a double face one so you can stick things to things. Then you wouldn't have to stick roof racks to your roof and strap things to the racks, you could just stick the things directly to your roof.
I can definitely see why masons or glazers would want one.
I could see why their bosses might want it more
Izzy, what happened to the last video about the drill bits!? IT VANISHED!! I wanted to purchase some of those bits!!
I had to take it down. will repost next Saturday
This was a great video Izzy. Much happiness to you and Maggie’s in retirement. Do a live stream of your wedding, now that would be cool
Great idea!!
Inventive; A1 robots will love Grabo.
