    Fire storms are seen as recently discovered. They were well-known during World War Two. During the bombing of German and Japanese cities self - reinforcing fire storms were purposely used to incinerate and terrorize civilians. Notably in Dresden and Tokyo. In Dresden the asphalt streets went up in fire tornados. In Japan more people were killed by the fire bombing of the B-29s than were killed by the atomic bombs.
