Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in an interview with Singapore journalists on 14 January 2015. Here, he responds to a question on family and social issues brought about by foreigners.

Sharing my observation as a foreigner living in Singapore for more than a decade. The local Singaporean men tend to target those foreigners more as it would be more easy to get rid of those girls if anything float up. A quick and easy romance to kill time. The way the journalist asked the question shows how judgmental she views the ladies from other nations as home-wreckers. She’s not providing the facts of what she claimed in all aspects and asking for solution...She really needs to prepare herself for an interview, let alone this one with the PM.
Win liao loh... this kind of questions can also ask PM.... Like that must ban all siam bu and korean girls working in flower joints liao loh. What's next? Ask PM to give counselling to those couples ah?
提问的记者带着满满的偏激。和低智。以为问一个尖锐的问题可以抢眼球。这样一个记者居然还有机会可以同总理发言。看了众多记者的提问。这个。确实属于无文化到级点的那种。
这个记者代表了不少新加坡人的思维方式-有问题不从自身找原因，总喜欢投诉别人，怨天尤人。总理的回答很睿智-婚姻情感是双方的问题，俗话说一个巴掌拍不响。

這是在中國文化裡大媽兒童教育的結果. 記者就像是個標準的大媽. "書中自有黃金屋, 書中自有顏如玉", 讀書和兒童教育, 對於中國人從來就只是個攻利的平台. 是大媽們制訂的遊戲規則. 長大了追求"顏如玉"是很自然的事情.
这跟总理有什么关系，这都是私人问题，自己解决

记者问了一个很好的问题。怎么保障本地妇女的权益？如果是离婚，妻子可以得到丈夫的部分财产。既然公积金是他的财产，妻子有权力分享。不可以把责任推给没有能力保护自己的妻子，或者说是夫妻之间的事。如果妇女可以保护她们自己，就不必立法一夫一妻了。政府的工作之一是保障本地妇女的福祉。
