heaventree ofstars the thing about this show is they paid respect to the legends of old that's what they did and I'm glad it's here in cinematic Lori for future generations to enjoy that's one thing I can say about Shauna now they get my respect for that so they gave you respect where it was due if they can find some of the old school they went and got him to come on the show those that was still living at the time they will always have my respect for that they paid their respect and they paid their dues to the old school of rock and roll
heaventree ofstars you have to remember this is clean family entertainment suitable for the whole family to enjoy now that Christina Aguilera s*** none of that damn rap music rap real talent Real Entertainment and old school Legends of Rock and Roll good quality family show no bad words no nothing. I remember that too! The lady he pulled onstage at my concert was so drunk that he very graciously steared her to the side and he got a case of the giggles. Great performer!
I worked for a local insurance company about 25 years ago. The owner got a new neighbor...Chubby Checker. I remember her telling us. I said can I visit? She said me or him? I said both. I'll need you to explain who I am. That never happened because they lost a huge client so they had to lay me off.
That is the dumbest comment on here! You think racism is worse today? I love that time and music, but racism was worse back then. That’s not even a question.
@@harrisongelles685 It seems like the 70's decade just followed the decade that Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated by James Lee Jones. If you're a Star Wars fan, it's easy to remember the name of the assassin because his middle name is one name different from the actor who played Darth Vader.
Who is the guy dressed all in black, is that Bowzer? He looks like a young Morton Downey Jr.. especially those teeth and that hair! Those were the good old days when a guy could wear pink and not be accused of being gay by a religious nut!
Santini at 2:47 - love it!
Sha Na Na had some great artists on their show. It must have been a blast to work with them.
Chubby Checker and Sha Na Na and The Twist, it doesn't get any getter than this!

Saw Chubby Checker perform live! 👍👍👍
I remember seeing him in concert. He used to take women out of the audience and twist with them on stage. Great entertainer!

It's kind of sad when you want to go back in time to avoid the racism.
Yeah, it is. Too bad you don’t understand why
