What truly pleases me is that I have recently found an interest in music such as Frank Sinatra's, and Fly Me To The Moon happens to be my favorite song from him and one of my favorite songs in general. Coincidentally, Jenny, the individual responsible for my favorite RWBY song covers, just released this absolutely amazing cover *today* and not many hours ago. It's a bit peculiar, knowing I ran into this in such a time, and at the time I literally searched for covers of this song, but to run into this is an upheaving occurrence that has induced a greater fancy for this song and this channel. No one thinks of an anime or game when referring to this song but the niche communities you find online. She specified this as an Evangelion cover because she is covering the specific mix that Evangelion's music directors arranged of the song.
I was always sad that they didn't use the Sinatra version of fly me to the moon for the credits of Evangelion. Although the royalties would have probably bankrupted them before the project even began. Also the cover does have some charm to it.

Not sure if you'll see this, but I love this cover. I actually like this more than the original song. The way your voice can change pitch so seamlessly is amazing. That, coupled with the brilliant piano and violin makes this just wonderful. It's the kind of song I'd play after a week of hard finals and the first song I'd go to if I had to go a week without listening to music.
I like Franks Version. But i much prefer the Nat King Cole rendition.

This was an interesting rendition of the song. I love the pop flare your voice added to it and there is nothing wrong with doing covers but have you considered doing original songs? Maybe Jazz style like the Sinatra one you just did. I like the idea that you would do these original style of songs. Personally I think we should bring back the bands and instruments into music and do away with all of this electronic bs... Just an old soul looking to hear good music how the musicians the true artists intended.
I hear you're argument with the instruments and it may come true in the future. But times have changed for now. I personally love the old way but the new way... well I'd like to see everything it has to offer before I say anything. Oh and please check out Lindsey Sterling, she performs the violin in a style all her own.

@@rga0019 Well.. Neon Genisis made me extremely depressed when I first finished it. I'm not even joking. So unexpected. The part that made it worse is that as soon as I finished Eva.. I went to go watch the Berserk 1990s anime... and well then my depression of that Eclipse of berserk with Neon Genisis combined was on another level.
