It's like they were born with those engraving tools in their hands. It's as if those tools were actually parts of their bodies, or more than just a mere extension of their hands. They wield those tools as you or I would wield a knife and fork at mealtime or use a pen to jot down an idea or memoranda. It's as if, engraving those beautiful works of art, is as matter of fact as eating or writing down letters or numbers would be to me. I look at their works and say to myself, there is no way that human beings did that, it must be a machine. However, the raw humanity is there in those works of art. Human hands have touched that metal and created that beauty. I hope that I did these men justice through my words.
