Unfortunately for MO Flak troopers, they're changed to basic anti-armor infantry that can fare better against tanks but bad against infantry.. them and their other equivalent would lose against Conscript or equivalent unit (just like in RA1 where Rocket Infantry could beat tanks but lost of Rifle Infantry).. which is accurate as MO is the real sequel of RA1 than vanilla RA2 ever been

Mental Omega is big on making sure that units that are effective against a specific type are less useful against others. This shows in the Flak Troopers by removing their splash damage against ground units and massively downscaling their damage against infantry. All their downside have been compensated by halving their base cost to only $150, making it extremely easy to spam them en masse to deal with tanks through sheer numbers and letting you turn neutral buildings into death traps for tanks on the cheap.
